1) I've got to log in 2-3 times to post a message. 2) The search function has been squirrely with me for a couple of days now.

The team in charge of maintaining the website are aware of this problem and are doing what they can to resolve it as soon as is possible ---

Another one I just found is when I edit a post and click the update button, it says the thread doesn't exist. If I page back to the thread and refresh, it was updated with my changes.

Edited by: Lardarz B''stard on 08/07/2006 06:13:02 Trying to log in and check skills on 3 different accounts and post on the forums leads me to think I am about to get lynched by concord every 5 minutes and is turning me into a paranoid wreck. Please fix this before I start twitching.
edit: just noticed the OP's fantastic use of squirrels

I get that one too, but not all the time.

Ummm Haha? That was basically the answer nearly word by word on a petition on the topic about a month ago. There are basically hundreds of authentication systems around for website authentication that do work. Maybe the one used for these sites should be exchanged for something else if it can't be fixed?
Imagine you're trying to buy something in a webshop where you have to login each time you want to see an artcle and where you don't know if you actually ordered something in the end, and you don't know if and where your CC-data ends. I know that I would not buy from that shop. --*=*=*--

The worst is replying and finding that, although you are logged in, it still logs you in again before you can post then takes you back to the thread again. Hit reply again and you can edit. Now hit send and it puts you in a blank editing page. Hit back and it refreshes the blank editing page, hit back twice fast and you get the edit page with your text. Hit send and it finally posts it.
Just making a single post to this forum is becoming hard work

This one's been coming and going for several months now - longer than the multiple log ins. -- (Battle hardened miner)
