Hmm now I think on it, I was getting odd polarisation timers when I was checking the jump distances last night.
Was doing laps around C4->C2->LS and was only seeing the polarisation from the C4. Didn't think anything of it as I was only half paying attention.
This and the jump distance stuff feel the wrong way around. Polarisation should be based off the ship, distance off the WH type. If you're doing either at all.
Also peeps just remember, sisi is the test server, Dev's try things. They can always abandon them or change them right up to the last second. Don't go freaking out |

If we do not "freak out " as you describe it, A dev blog will be written, and they will play about and tweak a few numbers. Does anyone have any question that this is not exactly how it would play out?
When a parent finds that someone is going to kill and eat ones family, you do not wait around to discuss which members and what sauce might make it taste better.
If that dev blog is published with these changes, then a line will have been crossed, Behaviour will have been seen that cannot be unseen. There will be no going back from that, and what will occur will occur. They will have sown the wind, and can expect to reap the whirlwind.
It's not worth stressing over as for all we know this may have been totally abandoned weeks ago and they haven't gotten around to removing it yet. Save your heart attack for the DevBlog |

I love that we're having this discussion in a thread about changes to current mechanics. Things can change at any time. If CCP wants they could have this active for a day then remove it. |

Good to know. Now to poke the hornets nest.
I've been thinking for a while now that making part of the polarisation timer variable to something on the ship would be cool. For example making the last minute of the timer based on the sensor strength of the ship. The higher the shorter the last minute is. Would be an interesting boost to bigger ships and an additional buff to ECCM. |
