THIS NOT A RECRUITING AD. I want input, not applicants.
Over the years several of my toons have qualified for Level V missions, but I have been allowed to tag along on a few, and I know we don't have a viable team. Plus, If I run Level Vs with one character, I don't want any other clients running.
Also, if you can solo a Level V, I don't need your input.
What I have in mind is a fleet with Logi support. A fleet that has spent some time together, maybe just blitzing Level IVs.
So, the information I need is:
1. Any suggestions for building the team? Once again, I'm not recruiting. I would prefer that the team members be independents, or members of some other corp.
2. I have a general idea of what Logis should be in the team, but only general. I need suggestions on that. Most of my people shield tank.
3. Right now, the alliance uses Ventrilo. I would not accept anyone into the fleet unless they have reliable voice coms. I've used TS, hate it, and don't have a server. Is that a problem?
4. I am not an FC. I don't have the temperment, or the reflexes for it. Any suggestions on finding a competent L5 FC? I don't want names, I just need advice on how to look for one.
5. I would be more than happy to join someone else's L5 fleet, and just provide missions and a small amount of fire power, but I don't think I should advertise in the recruitment center.
I would appreciate any relevant comments anyone might have.
Location: Currently circling the toilet bowl that is Eve.

Could you be a little more specific?
I did have trouble posting. Got caught in a CCP time warp. On the third try it seemed to work.

Are we talking about level 5 missions?
If we are you do realise that you can blitz a good chuck of them solo in a 800mil Tengu.
I am struggle why you feel you need a fleet unless you all want to die as soon as you get into low sec as you are going to stick out like a sore thumb |

I'd go for 3 dps battleships and 2 logis. If rats target the logies, the other one should be able to keep the agressed one alive if its finding it hard to sigtank. 3 battleships should put out enough dps easy.
You dont really need an FC imho. Just somebody who went through the trouble of reading the wiki and inform you of required tank, damagetype and calls the target-sequence once inside the mission. |

1: 2 DPS ships, one logi. Add however many ships you feel like. Keep in mind that any fleet over 2 ships will be combat probed out quite quickly so either expect a fight or dock up once probes come out.
2: Doesnt really matter as any of them will do. Scimis are nice.
3: Telling people without voicecomms to GTFO is good.
4: Err they're missions. Basically you warp in, sort overview by range, shoot closest until it dies, no FCing required. The main problem will be not falling asleep.
5: People dont actually do L5 in groups, its a waste of money to do so as you'll make a lot more blitzing them solo.
