This has been a sad sad state of affairs. May i say on behalf of NE-XT, that we've done with NFC, it was never meant to be this way. As for sparta, its a shame, suicide is never nice to watch. Here's to a United North, the way it was meant to be.

I'm sorry but i am sick of reading all this political BULL. As i remember it SPR were neutral up to the point that an FLA gank squad decided to raid CZD.........for wat ever reason........we were neutral. And watever FLA have to say we are not finished and i have every faith in the fact that however this situiation pans out you are going to have ure pathetic smacktalking asses kiked all the way back to empire. As for goons for they wil get there shot and we wil be there to support them.
oh and just a quick note......IRON stop thinking u have any kinda power in Deklein......maybe once upon a time.....but not now.

RISE was unofficially contacted along these lines in an attempt to drum up support for Goonswarm vs D2. A resounding "pound sand" was heard in the halls of the newly constructed RISE council chambers. We remain committed to our friendship with D2 and this weekend rendered many a Goonswarm battleship (yes, Goonswarm battlships, not frigates) into it's component atoms.

That is a lie. A SPARTA carrier was being used to reinforce the NFC outpost that was being onlined in our home system the first night NFC officially went to war with us. I was there. I took the killmail on your NFC buddy's sniper Apoc. Unfortunately I missed the action when that station got blown to hell.

What ever happend at the start of the war we claimed neutrality. And not until we were agressed by FLA were we dragged back into the war, and if you arent destroyed by our hands then ure alliance with IRON and D2 is going to bring about ure death anyway.

I'm just an average member in GS here, but I find that really odd since we all generaly hate RISE. They try to gate camp us or disrupt syndicate to their limited ability. Also the casual talk of resuming our outer ring invasion after we are done in cloud ring had lead me to believe we had other plans for RISE, probably involving Jita and Veldspar. I guess maybe our dear leader is pulling some interesting diplomacy that the general membership isnt aware of...
...Or maybe, you know, that both the FLA and RISE claims are complete crap. That seems more reasonable.

Just because you're capable of beating someone doesn't mean that having them not shoot at you (or better yet, shoot at your enemy) isn't a beneficial arrangement.
It shouldn't be such a shock to you that your corp/alliance plays the politics game just like anyone else.

Not having people shooting at you is a good thing. And no, not surprised that the higher ups do politics. I didnt think you'd need to clarify this one.
Just saying that my general opinion as a non super connected political mastermind is that these claims by RISE and FLA are false.
I guess maybe you misread the tone of my post, ah well, happens a lot over text and i'm not the best writer. So let me summerise: General member of GS believes claims of secect betrayal pacts offered by GS is ficticious. I am in no way surprised that the directors use diplomacy in forms other then a loaded projectile gun. I am also of the opinion that having as few things trying to kill me at one time is also good.

The reality so far would seem to idocate that Goon Fleet have lost XZH, with the station now being firmly in D2 hands again. Your other holdings in Cloud Ring will doubtless follow suit in the next few days, certainly by next weekend it would be a great suprise to me personally if Goon Fleet was active in any real way in the region.
The reality would also seem to indicate that BoB have your home system pretty well locked down and are killing anything that dares to show its little Goonie face.
Of course, being Eve, this could all change rather quickly. However at the moment the reality for Goon Fleet is that it is like a beaten boxer, on the ropes and taking body blow after head shot. A-rocking and a-reeling, not down yet but it ain't looking good....
My views, and maybe not my corps or my alliance's views as I only speak for myself.

Rather than flaming, I'll just put out the following:
We took, held and defended conquerable space from one of the top alliances in EVE without significant capital ship support OF OUR OWN (that is, capital ships owned and operated by GoonFleet members). During this invasion we destroyed more than a dozen enemy capitals and a few POSs (as is to the best of my knowledge).
When D2 realized that they could not wage a combat war against us, primarily because of our rules of engagement, they played one their could win: economical. The idea was that if they put up enough POSs, we would loose sovereignty and retreat. In the end-game, D2 had some 41 (if we counted correctly) POSs in XZH to our 21 and as such, we lost sovereignty. They played a very effective card against us, one that we could not combat in the time we had.
With respect to BoB, well they seem very content in invading Syndicate. Mind you, not a great many things leave that pipe alive...
