Just to point out, Chorus of Dawns short hand is CORUS. This was chosen for two reasons. Firstly there had been a previous alliance from pre-exodus days with the ticker CoD (which was also a nothern based alliance as well), and second but somewhat less important was the fact that we didn't want it to sound to fishy - - Infinite Style Incorporated - Chorus of Dawn

I am with the OP, CORUS and Red Skull have impressed me. I like UK sticking to its RP and fielding an all Minnie team. Reminds me of Tyrrax and the 1v1 sticking to Amarr. I give them major props for that.
Disappointments? No shows

Seems like biggest surprise is how few the surprises are, in fact. BoB,MC,Five,LV steadily rolling along. D2 doing ok. Only real aberration in my book is RA underperforming severely .
SA's had some good fights. 3FA has been fun to wath.

Best momments: watching the look of Pain on Tyraxx's face having to give even slight props to the BoB team on their win. What words can not express eh?
Best Teams: BoB (slightly bias ofc ), IAC & MC. As to why? well i wasn't expecting anything else out of the TWD meister . Tyraxx and Jim Raynor themselves are a formidable team, let alone another 3 of them , and MC for such a stunning pulling up of their socks from the last Tourney, complete obliteration of the enemy; great stuff!
Disappointments: NORAD in their first outing, i was a bit surprised tbh. RA's Sabre trying to run away until the GM's popped it, that's it fellas good to see you going down swinging
All-in-all though it's been top notch, catchya all smacking my nutz off in IRC on Friday

Happy with: The fights with the Bhaalgorns, and that 'phoon coming outta nowhere and pwning that Rattlesnake (after a while).
Disappointed with: The boring SMASH fights, sure they're winning, but god damn. Can we get some kind of firepower?

Impressed with IAC cause I wasnt aware that they were this good (everybody else in EvE was apparently looking at betting odds)
Loved the Typhoon bit (though there is something wrong with the enemy BC going down like a dual webbed ceptor and an Ares at that).
Impressed (or one might say *****slapped) by BoB... though in all fairness teammates left -v- so I was called Cerb from Crow 50 mins b4 the match and having to travel 24 jumps to get one (still I sucked bad)
Dissapointed trully by RA. Their pride done them in again. Instead of realising that their set up wouldnt work after our match they blame it on "Internet problems" resulting in them using the same set ups again in the next much and promptly losing a second Baalg. Had they gone for MACTEP in any ammar BS he could have 1v5ed the average enemy
Liked ASCN though I hope they realise they have to change set ups now or they ll probably lose the next game.
-LV-s last fight was also awsome... I wish I was on their TS at the time ... from what I saw on EVE TV King Dave did an amazing job...
P***** off a bit by the commentator at the studio saying about our group "we love BoB, the rest of you we dont know/care about" but I guess its his right ... (who is he in eve again?)
Very nice tourney so far.

Hi, Eddie! Thanks for the write up. I'll do you the same!
Originally by: Eddie Gordo On the day of the match I was on a school trip that overran. (I work for a school) I also thought our match was later than it was. While driving back I got a phonecall (hands free!!) saying we had been called up... FOOT TO THE FLAW
Whats this, oh **** i'm 10 jumps from home....insta back...try and refit ship.
Teamspeak at this stage went somethig like
"Are you ready" "No i'm not F****ing ready" "Are you ready" "No i'm not F****ing ready" "Are you ready" "This isnt F****ing helping"
LOL!!!! Oh,damn!! M8, you have no idea how funny that is considering what went on in our TS. Why?
Well, the MC team got transported to the Arena and ended up waiting (on you, I guess) for about 10-15 mins.
So, it's our first match and we are *****ling with energy. We were so worked up we almost started shooting at each other before the match. So there we are, finally at the 'arena'... and the other team isn't there yet. Nooooooo!
Your team leader was asking questions like, "Can we fight with just four ships?". While this was going on, I even considered dropping off one of our ships if need be to make it an even fight. So we are still waiting on the UK team to show up and the thought hits,
"Oh ****! Guys... someone here has probably already told them what we are flying." "Oh, great! I bet they are re-fitting as we speak!" "Late, my ass! Cheating bastards!" "We're gonna get owned." "Well, it's my job to die anyway. I hate this Sabre." <--- Coug
We went from this ferocious, "They are gonna DIE!!!" mentality to, "WTF are we gonna do now, man?! Game over, man!" LOL!!! While we didn't think it was intentional, we seriously thought that you guys were going to come out with some crazy last-minute set-up to make our lives hell.
It's too bad things went the way they did. I'd have preferred a fight against UK similar to your showing against ISS. Oh well, good luck in your last match against SA. We'll try to soften them up for you a bit on Friday. -

Let's See..
Red Skull looked damn good against Morsus Mihi [8)
IAC and MC looked good...
Blob Of Builders didn't really impress me, maybe they'll fight a decent team soon.
UK, ISS, and RA came to lose ships I guess...

They totally stole it from IAC ;p If you paid attention you'd see they were using something entirely different in their first match and then switched to basically using our strat, only shoddily implemented

Although i'll admit to having watched our group a tad closer than the other, LV, BOB, 5 and IAC have fallen into the bloody scary wouldn't-want-to-meet-in-a-dark-alleyway category.
I think our groups turned out to be quite interesting, despite what some of the 'experts' think, it doesn't take much for a close fight to look like a slaughter when the balance of fire swings, i think U'K has been quite hard done by and are taking some pretty harsh critism for at the end of the day trying out new tactics and strategies, which havn't always worked but you need to give them credit for turning up and trying - CORUS have really impressed, i didn't know what to expect against them as they were unknown to me but they've come out in top of the line ships and gone at it. SA have done well as expected, i'm looking forward to tomorrows fight, its going to be interesting. I wish them all the best of luck in the rest if the fights :)
