hi people
I'm looking for things to do and learn about, but I notice that when I ask the question 'what do i do now?' people are really helpful but rarely answer specifically.
So, what was the most fun you had this week (or this month) and what made it fun for you? |

As a professional enforcer of the New Order of Highsec, myself and friends of mine grew tired of the cries that we never "fought anything that was able to shoot back" and we should "go to low-sec" - so we did. We picked a system deep in the heart of the Caldari vs. Gallente Factional Warfare struggle, and brought a very well balanced fleet there to engage in some PVP with the locals. Over the course of but a few hours, we manged to deal billions of ISK in damage to everything that was not part of our fleet, without suffering a single loss.
The most fun you can have in EVE is to really get a complete grasp on game mechanics via lots of practice, make friends with people who also understand these mechanics, and go out and create some content. Win or lose, I learn something new and I always have a great time!
It also does not hurt to have a bunch of fun people on voice comm with with you to laugh and have fun :) |

Started running complexes and some basic exploration stuff (highsec until I want to remove the training wheels) and ended up racing people to the loot a few times, which I greatly enjoyed (and I won  ).
Never really tried exploration before, but it was loads of fun (even though I only got 20mil or so). I definitely want to move it out of highsec at some point though. I may even take my exploration into WH space to mix things up a bit  .

Watching Alliance Tournament with my teammates and setting some bets. Yesterday we also had a big fight against a rival lowsec corporation, and last week we fought for some POCOs in lowsec. We got pushed off field in the end but it was an awesome slugfest, 10/10 would-form-up-again-for-that kind of deal. |

Congrats! There is nothing quite like this feeling, one of my first was a 2005 account calling my Tristan out for a 1vs1 frig fight in lowsec, saying "Sure!" to the idea, showing up, engaging him and somehow managing to kill him with only about 50% hull remaining while I tried to warp out only to have his corpie in a Ishtar drop at that exact same second and explode me :) We all had a good LOL about it :)
I gave him a bit of a :( about not honoring a "u w0t mate 1vs1 me" fight, laughing at him responding with "Dude, this is EVE - like we were going to let you live in the first place" response :) Ahhh, the joys of random low sec PVP :P |

The most fun I had in EVE this week was waiting for my training queue to finish so I can load up yet another seven day "lesson." Fun? I guess it depends on what you're "studying."

It was fun to me when I finished Jump Drive Calibration skill - Rank 9 at lv 5 with no remap, finaly after 48 days or more.
It give almost nothing ;) but its finished and this fact make me happy.

Got my second solo kill today .
On friday night, 3 of us (me in a T1 fit Tristan, a Rifter and a Navitas for reps) tackled a Typhoon in a large FW complex. He accidentally burned out his missile launchers and decided to toy with us while his friends made their way to us. He'd let his shields drop to 0, then rep them all at once, all while we exchanged silly banter in local. I tried calling in backup, but everyone was too far so we ended up losing, but we had a good laugh. We ended up joining them on a roam that same evening and having a blast.

In the month? Moved my stratios pilot out of a WH and did some low/null ratting. Had an AFK cloaking contest.
Week? Came up with a skill plan/remap/implants for my industry alt who got kicked in the nuts hard by the reprocessing nerf, reconfigured and relocated my Paladin.
Its sad to admit that "spreadsheets online" is an entertaining aspect of the game for me still, but it is. I love drawing graphs on PYFA.

I'm finding that more and more, while I like to solo roam, the social interaction and connections in the game are what I enjoy the most.
So if you are looking for suggestions, find a public pvp fleet and go have fun being killed and chatting on comms. It's a blast.

Most of the bands I saw had their moment back in my youth and I figured I better see them now before they die off. Compared to many of today's death metal bands, these bands are "wimps". And the way the American music scene looks today, most (good) metal bands are from foreign countries so alas...

Flying logi 12 hours straight while my militia seiged (and eventually took) two lowsec FW systems.
Highlights were keeping everyone alive in a couple of fights where we were outnumbered/outshipped and keeping most of my fleetmates alive for long enough to kill a dozen PL assault frigates and a bunch of Caldari frigates and destroyers, before having to abbandon the field when yet another fleet of cruisers warped into our 10 AFs + 2 Scythes gang.
Killing people is great, but watching your mates' back while they kill people can be quite fun, too.

I was actually scheduled for biomassing. They were trying to figure out what to do with my stuff. I figured I would destroy my own stuff. Went a few jumps from where I was.... Sivala looking for autopiloting pods. First one I randomly picked happened to have a few implants and not so cheap. Only tears I received was the activation of a killright to everyone for a measly 25 mil.
I also learned podding someone in Genersis or Sanctum is hard to do....
Either way it was fun. |

Been busy the past month so I didn't want to jump into anything too crazy while I dusted off. After a half dozen scanners I dived into a fight against my very first Worm since the rebalance. Not only did I win but he was so kind as to drop me a nice Deadspace sheild booster worth 100 mil. Oh and this tickled me. ^^

Yeah, that was pretty fun.
What surprised me the most was that with a fleet consisting of totally diferent people from different regions and alliances, almost every second system some of us found older friends. So much waving and chitchat in local.
Next time we should bring space cookies for all our spacefriends. 
I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it.

Taking a Wormhole to Null Sec Space and Finding 2 Blue prints for high grade implants in a single relic module. :)
And on my FW Alt, I FC'd a 7 man Tech 1 Frigate Gang and Cleared out several destroyers and an Assault Frigate, we took losses along the way but we won the isk ratio by a large margin.

I tried out the whole "AFK cloaky" thing, because I'm always hearing about it in the forums. I actually found a fairly populated system, created a safe spot, and just sat there for hours, cloaked.
...but nobody else in the Jita system even seemed to care. |

It is! Due to lack of Atron skills I used a Slasher  It got the job done.
But I forgot to mention something.
I was also fleeted up in a Thrasher Alpha roam once the past week. It was the first time for me and was pretty funny how fast kills were made and how hard we got killed in the end.
Besides, halfway during the roam my internet popped out for a couple of seconds so I got kicked off EVE.
So I reconnected to comms to hear them laughing out loud and I knew something was wrong
Since the following was true:
-I wasn't in their corp or alliance.
-EVE removes you from a fleet on disconnect.
-I still had a logout and supect timer.
They suddenly noticed a yellow blinky on the overview. Ofc. they nuked me down in 0.5 seconds. 
I didn't get podded and they even gave me a new Thrasher so we could continue the roam together.
It was a really weird but funny moment.  |

I went on test server and made an LOLFit 7 mill EHP Revelation.
I then did test fits for a navy Apoc.
8 x Tachyon Beam II with Gleams has 600 dps and 22km Optimal
8 x Heavy Pulse II with Conflag has 750 dps and 20km Optimal.
It takes just over15 minutes to melt a 220K EHP, stationary Large Mobile warp disruption sphere with an Aurora fit Tachyon II, Navy Apoc.
The sand is turning in to cement. |

My main wardecced a 40 man corp and i did 750M in damage in under 2 days. It took them until the start of day 4 to form any type of organized resistance.
From that point on i was labeled a coward for not taking on 4, 5 and 7 v 1.
Oh, and one guy said i had made the "biggest mistake of my life" after i killed and podded him. Delicious anger.
So all in all, it was a good week.

Deciding to go ahead and take the wormhole to K-Space 18 jumps deep in Null, instead of waiting for my corp-mates to show up and help me roll a new one closer to where I was trying to get in Highsec. Never ran into anything actually dangerous (except one small group of gate campers that I was able to avoid) and made it back home to W-Space safely, but it was still a lot of fun actually having to plan out my route, and having to pay attention to what I was doing instead of just "click jump. wait to hear noise. click jump. wait to hear noise. click jump..."

wtf ? i went to check out my site again after local was good again and had 20 t2 and 5 cruiser wrecks in it unlooted...
i wtfed again looted and even found my rat still alive.
I still dont actully quite understand what happened there , they clearly tried to gank me at first but then got ganked themselfes???

got cought while Ratting in MUXX down in Catch by 2 Cruzifer .... after a 10 minute fight they had to get out of range lots of times to recover .... they calledfor help and 2 Bombers and a Crow warped in ..after 5 more minutes.. i was able to kill one Cruzifer but the AOE of 3 Bombs and Volley from lots of Torpedos was to much i Died xD ... well the Fun Part about it wasn-¦t that iam a Brave and Lost my Cyclone (rest inPeace Leela I) why i enjoyed it so much was that a 6 years old Player complimentet me (2month old first time player ) on my Awesome Cyclone fit after he invited toa private chat :3 |

Actually it really was fun, and more people in alliances need to step up for practices, because it's a pain to organise.
The countdown was horrifying (esp since they were running behind), such panic. Actually that stopped as soon as the match started, but don't knock people for freezing up if you haven't done one, because it is incredibly stressful lol. I forgot to turn off the stream too, so could hear them commentating (luckily it was barely audible) on the match.

After a week of exploration, finding nothing and thinking about a change of careers I found 500M ISK of loot over the weekend, most at just one site deep in null sec. Getting home avoiding bubbles, CFC pirates(are they pirates??) and a whole corp of stealth bombers with that much loot in cargo was terrifying and fun!
Docking up at a trading hub with everything intact was fun. Spending it will also be fun :-) |

Easy answer for me, seeing my blog featured on the EvEPandora site as a main source of ingame news. On top of it, seeing my big article on Sansha live events featuring by request on the Coffee rocks eve news site was great.
Been writing ingame newsreports for a year now about player events, CCP stuff & some of my own shenagians from an In Character view & enjoyed it, but very few feelings can compare to the one you get with recognition.

Last week was absolutely terrible in terms of fun. For some reason every T1 cruiser roam we had was cut short by a rediculous carrier or BLOPS drop. I don't mind losing a ship, but once it starts to happen 3 times a day it gets old fast. I just couldn't find the motivation to play anymore. So I logged off, and watched Berserk episodes on Youtube instead. |

A new guy in my alliance (and newer to the game) bragging that his shiny brand new tornado could take out anyone who warped to 100k before they could get close, so I spiraled in with a merlin, tackled/webbed him and kept him from moving for 30 min just to teach him that bigger isn't better.
