Edited by: Blood good on 21/07/2006 06:49:42 As everyone (the smart people) says. Keep your stuff, you will problably be back. When you hit level 60 (which you will do in a short time) in WoW there will only be raids left.. and you will get bored of it after doing the same Raid over and over and over and over again.
Either keep everything or do some kind of lottery, as you can see beggars have already starting to ask for stuff.

If you have plenty of mixed racial ships visit the starter systems and give them to the new players there.
I remember when i started playing some guy gave me 5 million isk and it made my day. ___

Edited by: Irrilian on 21/07/2006 07:15:12 Find a good cause to donate to, or perhaps sell the stuff then head over to complex in the starter systems. Look for the people obviously trying to uncypher the tutorial and give them a little nest egg to get started.
But whatever you do, dont give it all away, keep a small nest egg in case you decided to return some day.
Have fun in the new game. - - - The Big Blue, ôExodus realised.ö |

My first advise would be to keep your stuff, you will probably come back anyway.
If you really want to get rid of it, I'd just sell it all off (melt it down into minerals if you have to), buy GTC's with the isk, and sell off the GTC's on ebay.

Do both. I play EVE on my left machine and WoW on my right. Keeps those long nights in BWL and AQ40 interesting.

- Set up a corp in Heimatar - Let anyone who wants to, join - Give every new member an amount of ISK - Allow them access to the corp hangar where all your stuff's at (leave something for the corp only like the BPO's) - Apoint someone CEO and leave EVE knowing you'll have created a powerhouse of a corp |

Originally by: Ebonheart Well I am the last of the minmohicans. I started with a group of 17 people playing Eve. It was awsome. Now sadly the rest have all moved on to Wow, with a few going to anarchy online.
Now I have decided to do the same. I have tried the leapfrogging skill month, where you pay for a month and start a long skill train for the next after your subscription runs out, but no more.
But what about all my stuff?Mainly I have a character with over 16 mill. sp, but obviosly that can't go to anyone, but I also have ALL the stuff that the other corp mates left when they jumped ship. Many Battleships, mostly Megathrons and apocs. Mining barges, lots of bpo's and oodles and oodles of minerals. i wish that I could set myself up as an Npc so that I could make up missions that give that stuff as a reward. Anybody have any interesting ideas for liquidation? I want it to go to real players who want to stick with this game not beggers. Oh well, I guess it all just sits as code waiting to be called upon years down the road when the game has changed enough to call me back.
Keep it.
You'll be back.

I'll happily take a Megathron off your hands.
It is often hard to maintain an interest in something when your friends are no longer interested in it, especially if their interest has been transferred to something else. Don't terminate the character though (just in case you'd considered it), it's possible that you'll come back after all; assets are easy enough to come by (especially with a huge wallet) but 16 million SPs are more awkward :-)

Well, I'd suggest keeping it for when you come back in six or eight months (and you will be back...bwahahaha).
However, if you decide to get rid of the stuff, some of my corp's newer members are just starting to get into battleships and will probably lose a few before they're fully competent with 'em, so we'd be more than happy to take them off your hands to replace combat losses with. -Wrayeth

Looking to buy an apoc if you can spare it.
I would offer a trade for a megathron but it sounds like you already have a few :)

Join another corp? Or as other posters have said just sell it all and then put your char in the "deep freeze" in case you ever come back.

Follow the advice posted mate. Deep freeze your character and assets. I have played WoW as well and when I got to 60, I got bored and just couldn't be bothered trying to grind instances. I have other characters on WoW that range from a lvl 27, 37 and a lvl 40.
I had a break from EVE for a couple of months while playing but kept my account active so I wouldn't fall behind in skills. I am now back in full swing and WoW hasn't been touched in over a month. It's like a "evil" stage I went through.
If your still set on giving away assets, make sure you try and find a "newer" character that would be make use of the items. Unlike other MMO's, EVE has lasted and will be around for many years to come. ----------

Why? What I described is perfectly within the EULA. It's a CCP approved way of converting ISK into real life currency.

Keep the stuff in case you want to return someday ?
I've had a WoW break too for some months and then I came back.
I also still have my WoW account though. I've reactivated it 1 1/2 weeks ago to play with my old mates, but wow end game with a top guild, who runs the lates raid instances there, is extremely time consuming. You can't come and go, how you like, because 39 mates are waiting for you to do the 5-hours raid, for which you signed up. If you also have 'duties' in EVE, both is just not possible.

You can donate that stuff to Red Alliance - they are are located next door to you and are currently fighting being heavily outnumbered by an evil coalition of 6 or 7 alliances

All this begging now is realy annoying. But hey, if you are sure you want to give some away, help an old Eve-player who lost all his stuff foolishly by deleting his old account and is now back from Wow, grinding for his first Battleship...
(Hey, everybody is begging here, so why not me? )

i'd say keep it. wait a year. if you're still playing wow and have on interest in EVE, then contact an EVE Radio person or similar, and do a big compo to get rid of it all, it¦ll make you famous (for minutes).
but i've seen far too many people give their stuff away only to come back, and regret not having stockpiled.
