dude at this rate i'd stop using capital ships if i where you, at least untill they fix this capital "lag" thing.
but if you still want to fly them, D2 does sell carriers in bulk :-/

Yup, lost another one. This time it wasn't an out of synch bug as yesterdays although that did occur once but I was watching the carrier with a covert ops on another computer and could see it starting to head towards open space. Although my screen on my carrier showed me still sitting motionless right at the undock point, I clicked dock to reset the server/client synch before I actually drifted to far out.
The reason it died this time was that modules would not turn off. The lag was easily within acceptable/playable parameters however the smartbombs simply coninued to flash red as though they were cycling off... but continued doing that for several cycles. Looking through my covert I could see the bombs still going off. I did several F keys rapid activation/deactivations so that even if lag was preventing me from seeing they were off and I was actually reactivating them... multiple rapid cycles would shut them down no matter what the graphics were displaying.
I then figured maybe I was disco'ed so I quickly tried to relog. Even while I was reloading the client I watched through the covert on the other comp and the bombs never cycled off. By the time I started loading space it was over.
That's the skinny on it and personally I could care less if the "blinded by bias" enemies believe it or not. You may ask "why would you bring out another carrier and risk it again?". The answer is simple, I've been playing since beta and have done pretty much everthing eve has to offer.
I own several t2 bpos and make about 3+ bill per month and I could afford to lose BS's by the mountains and never run out of isk. But let me ask you something: Why do you continue to play eve? Is it to fly the same ships over and over and over until you puke? No, the reason most people continue to play is the same as any game, you strive to get better and use more powerful items that the game has to offer. Cap ships are some of the few new toys in eve that interest me (recon ships rock too). If I cant field a new toy without wondering if a glitch in the game is going to down it, then whats the point?
We all want the risk of losing through proper mechanics or the game would hold no challenge and therefore no fun, but when the worst enemies are bugs then what reason is left to continue paying $14 per month per account?

Post a link to anywhere a representative from CCP has stated it is an exploit. Until then, STFU 4TW... mkay? Also, your typhoon with all smartbombs was within dock range as well.

But you almost got me with sb and drones, that was scary to see my little shiny frig start burning.
LOL, your eyes would bug out of your head if you actually "got my stuff". The surviving "loot" is buttwipe in comparison.
I actually dont care about the 5bill or whatever it is at this point. What I care about are some fundamental bugs in the game that seem to be affecting one of the only toys left in eve that I really enjoy.
I guess I can always do what most carrier pilots do and stay at a pos and delegate fighter control to alts and gang mates.... oh I just don't how I will be able to contain the all the excitement it will generate 
There's always recon ships which are fun to fly, just not sure how long they will keep my interest. Haven't seen any show stopping bugs with them though... that's a plus.
