So the KD's having a discussion on motherships and then someone says that one has been spotted in a lowsec system.
Now when I point out that they can only be built and used in 0.0 I'm told that they can enter lowsec systems. Now has this been changed or are they just mistaking a normal carrier for a mothership?

Should be fixed, considering that they can't be killed in low sec (if they are set up for tanking).
They can, theoretically, be killed, I know. They can't if the pilot's a bit intelligent and cool-headed, though

I think he means that its going to be hard to hold down without Interdictors or bubbles. You can still bump them etc.

Motherships, like other Capital Ships, can enter lowsec space up to 0.4.
The Establishment is at your service...

Ok, just a NewBie trying to get the correct terminology but a 'Mothership' is actually a? Dreadnought? Titan? Don't flame too hard but I don't see a Mothership class in the DB.\

The mothership is the bigger type of carrier, so you will find them under carriers.
Big honking ships, with clone vats(some day) and lots of fighters...

afaik there are a few in service, mostly gallente ones..
You can already build em with clone vats, but you can't use those yet..
to be exact they are just the tier 2 carriers (but they are such a frell load bigger than their lil tier1 friends everybody calls em motherships)
