They need to sign up with bestbuy, or another eletronics mega store and give out free trial cd's. and While we at it have then set out big posters (like movie posters) right at the entrance of the stores. ;P

I was just talking to one my students the other day and he mentioned that he wanted to get WOW on his new home computer and I told him dude look do you know anyone on WOW ? he said no I said well you know one person on City of Heros and one on eve if you sign up on eve I can get you hooked up with some people and get you going good so he decided eve trying to get some of the younger crowd who isnt brain dead with WOW yet onto EVE start them out right and we have future Veterns

I'm not sure CCP wants a whole boat-load of people all at once. There are times when they have difficulty with the ones they have (quantity). It is almost an elite 'by invite' only type game.... and I like that. And by elite I mean really elite because the quality is phenominal and if everybody in California knew about it *shudders* it would not be good for the server(s).

I agree with the above post, w don want too many new players at once, God knows Emipire is full to the brim as it is.
Luckily EVE has is own manner of natural selection, the less adaptable you are the faster you die. In the end, the vets are all people worth gaming with/in opposition to.
We all depend on one another to keep the game interesting.

if you really want to spread the love, download the latest full installer version to CD, plus some handy eve-apps mebbe, add nice jewelcase with a spiffy logo insert and a trial code you sent to yourself. then you have something Real and Tangible. you can put it in their hands, say "Here.. This is Eve"
spread the joy.
