Jus' sayin CCP. You are so mislead. Super or no super most low sec groups know how to fight and you would still lose, if they werenGÇÖt in a super they would be in something else still killing you.
Oh of course yes, im misled because you know me right? Presumption is the mother of all.......
For your information as it obviously bothers you, i have been in low many times, and yes by my own admission i have only been hot dropped by supers on 4 of those occasions. But on all 4, im sure i dont need to reveal the results of those encounters.
As for getting killed in something else, im cool with that, in fact i'd invite it, as getting killed by another sub cap fleet is more welcome and easier to swallow than getting WTFBBQPWND by a super blob hot drop.

To those saying don't be worried about dying to supers in low sec, I'm not. I am happy to die in low sec, I just want a chance to kill you. More precisely I'd like at least part of low sec 0.29-0.49 to be Cap free, or at LEAST cyno free, you want those big boys take them gate to gate.
I can't use Bombs, I can't use bubbles but you can POOF appear and KNOW you can get away, where the **** are the consequences? Let us eat cake! -áI mean open containers in corp hangers please ... Let us stack all modules (eliminate repackaging), except damaged ones, give them a red hue/icon. Let us see damaged drones in our drone bay!

Completely barring them access will make having them a hassle when they have to be moved so not a good way to go, much better to restrict their use and/or increase their vulnerability while in empire space. Former can be done by coding the same rules that apply to high-sec capitals, that is no hostile/targeted module activation whatsoever .. kind of harsh but the only way to remove the hot-drop blob. Latter can be done by tying invulnerability to sovereignty so that supers used for anything outside ones own dominion (incl. empire/low-sec) will be subject to points from noob frigs and all the shades of faggotry that represent low-sec.
Either way, they need considerably more of a nerf than what CCP has on the table .. the super blobs will have 1% (arbitrary number) decrease in power compared to now so has no effect on status quo. They will actually benefit even more from blobbing with the coming changes .. yay for CCP's grand vision and unrivalled intelligence! |

How about post with your main, since I canGÇÖt judge on your stats I can only judge you on the crap you write.... and you write pure crap to be honest. I live in low sec, always have in fact (2006). I have been dropped by supers twice, once we deserved it, the second I was camping a rapier in station LOL. |

Banning them from low would be a bad idea as they need the freedom to move around wich only makes sence , however they should not be able to do anything else then just that , move around.Once they dive into low-sec their mods/fighters should not be able to do anything.
yes , not even if agressed .
Dreads , carriers etc is a different thing and yes they can also be a pain in the ass but you gotta draw a line somewhere right |

+1, lowsec is dumb as **** right now, crap isk, yet at any time you can be blobed by supers, can't bubble them down, can't DD them, wtf? Let supers run in lowsec, but no wepons... at least can not launch fighter bombers.
HS no caps, LS no supercap weps (dd, FB's etc), NS FFA.
I mean you can't even bomb in low, but you can use fighter bombers...
Er, I'd much rather have bombs in lowsec than supers, hell I'd rather have bombs with no change to supers... why not? |

Why?
My viewpoint on this is that if you can build them in lowsec (yeah yeah stop laughing at the back) then you can use them there. I don't care whether its supers or whatever, the point is that they shouldn't be there if you can't build them there. Its unbalanced to say the very least - just like carriers in high-sec would be now.
Now people can go trolling us "pubbies" but the bottom line is that its bollox for gameplay in low-sec, and you all know it is.
I don't mind getting hot-dropped but when you see some of the stuff that is getting dropped by supers before the nerf happens then its laughable. There's no other word for it.
Make the playing field level - ships that can be used in low-sec Empire can be built there. Then there might be some better fights. Or not. I suspect not but I'm cynical to say the least. |

Hi hello, it is not hard to kill a supercarrier in low-sec and it will become even easier after the patch. Stop being bad and set a trap and catch an idiot and he will not drop on your again. It's called defending yourself instead of running to the forums and whining to CCP every time you die. |

Since you (read: still all null monkeys) are very rarely seen in numbers that allow sunlight to pass or in sub-caps I'd go so far as to say: Bring it pubbie.
Hotdrops are in use not just because they are powerful/unscoutable but because they give people the "ability" to PvP from their recliners .. never being further away from home than the push of a button. Eve players has adopted one of the worst traits from CCP, the irrational fear of :effort:.

All I will say is that the engagement with CCP would have been a lot more interesting post patch. It might very well have ended up the same, but people would have had a lot more fun along the way.
This is not so much an endorsement of the main theme of the thread, it's more of an affirmation that the upcoming changes are a good thing for EVE in general and will to a small degree address problems with SC's in low sec.
I'm still deciding whether fighter/bombers should be allowed in low sec, I can see both sides. To kill the enemy and break their toys!
It's not so much a mission statement,-áit's more like a family motto. |

If any sort of change was to be made in this regard, then the cyno mechanics themselves should be the first post of call. Simply barring certain ships is in my honest opinion, OTT.
I also would like to add that I actually enjoy the whole hot drop scenario and the edge of your seat feeling it brings, but I'm not normal I guess.

Nah, supercaps need to be buildable in lowsec that's all. Supers are getting nerfed but they still have a place in 0.0 warfare, so letting lowsec alliances make them would go a long way towards turning lowsec into a transition point between high and null. |

1. Titans will no longer be able to instapop smaller ships with DD 2. Super Carrier fighter/bombers will have a harder time attacking smaller ships 3. All cap ships (excluding carriers) are loosing drones. 4. ??? (<--You guys living in lulsec, who fly mainly cruisers and battlecruisers) 5. PROFIT!!!!! You win.
Wait till Crucible and all you need is a HIC to nab those solo SC/TC then call in your buddies. Now, those supercaps are allowed to defend themselves, so they will need to hot drop in smaller ships (if its a titan) but the SC...will just die. So that means less people just randomly trolling around lulsec unless they are flying in a blob which is basicly the entire point of gang warfare now. If you encounter a blob that summons a cap ship, then it will be your fault and your ability to either 1) Bring your own super cap support 2) GTFO cause you don't always need to destroy everyship you see and if the odds are against you well you probably didn't plan well enough to begin with. |

Hi there.
So I have kind-of a unique perspective. I founded and ran a successful pirate alliance for something like 3 years. During that time, I FC'd fleets pretty much daily.
My alliance never lost a single ship to a super-capital, or at-least nothing worth mentioning. After that, BANE lost some supers to a big old super fleet, and only because they didn't do their homework.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
Nerf supers, nerf nanos, nerf it all. At the end of the day, a more organized group with more resources and more courage is going to come out on top. There's always going to be tactic, and someone's always going to be better than you, unless you do something about it. Stop asking for free handouts, they're not going to help. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6070/6122338654_85e9bbfca9_z.jpg |

Jump Drive Calibration 4... Titan = 7 LY range. Super Carrier = 8 LY range.
Would one of you who know better mind pointing out which systems are "nullsec pockets" requiring a jump into a lowsec system to reach it?
I tried checking and didn't find any that would suddenly become pockets due to this proposed change, not with JDC 4. Of course if that's too high an expectation, I suppose it could be lowered down but I don't think I'd find even one such pocket at 4 LY. I might be wrong - thus the question. |

Firstly saying that your Elite PvPer's PL because you dropped a load of supercaps in lowsec, is plain stupid, if you really wanted a bit of respect and to show your actually decent pvp squad, you would of rolled up in a sub cap fleet.
Supercaps do have a nasty habit of appearing and trashing GF's in FW and general lowsec roaming, while generally being too tough to crack before the logoffski timer finishes, thankfully CCP are looking at that, but really, it's not enough. Lower HP or Restricted usage (such as a "travel only" limit) in lowsec would be great.
Supers don't get trapped, super hotdrops don't ruin our day.
Not saying we don't want to fight you, it'd just be nice to see you folks grow some balls and come in a subcap fleet and actually have a good fight. |

Side note: All I see is PL thinking they're still in high school thinking they're all badass when they have all their friends behind them, and trying not to act like this going into effect would cripple them.
Give us reasons why this would be bad, PL. Real reasons. Any elitist attitudes will invalidate your argument. |
