the Rokh is the best sniper from all the Tier 3 bs's. true. but it is probaly horribly at short range. flying like a brick. and no damage or tracking bonusses. while the Hyperion is fast, agile, but it lacks sniping capability. does this mean the hyperion is bad? no. it's better then the Rokh, and most other tier 3 bs's at short range.

i also heard ppl whining the Caldari was the only race with a pure mission ship. well, look at the Abaddon and the Maelstrom. those 2 ships have great tanks. and that's what you need against npc's. they won't be able to snipe as good as the Rokh. but they will be better in doing missions.

none of the tier 3 battleships is better then another ship. the Caldari missed a real sniping bs. a follow up from the Moa. the Gallante ppl were wining they wanted a pure blaster battleship, just like the Thorax. the Minmatar and Amarr missed a mission ship, like the Caldari have. and look, that's what has been given. the Megathron will still be a good sniper for the Gallante, the Raven will still be a good mission ship for the Caldari, the Armageddon will still be the best sniper of the Amarr (although the Abaddon could also do this), and the Minmatar will still have their Tempest for sniping.

sniping : Tempest (minmatar), Armageddon(Amarr), Megathron (Gallante), Rokh (Caldari)
missions : Maelstrom (minmatar), Abaddon (Amarr), Dominix/Hyperion (Gallante), Raven (Caldari)
short range : Typhoon (minmatar), Apocalypse (Amarr), Dominix/Hyperion/Megathron (Gallante), Scorpion (Caldari)

(i don't know that much from Minmatar)
this is what i think of what these ships are best at. well, best for their race. and from all these ships i don't think any 1 would be better then another. one has bonusses on range, others on damage, others on speed. etc etc. Rokh would have a good range. but could still be out damaged by others.
