Personally I'm hoping that the Hurricane is an armour tanking AC boat. But that may just be me. The shield tanking arty boat role is already taken by the Cyclone, and it does it very well. If the Hurricane is the same, it will make a great ship obsolete, and I don't believe that CCP is in the habit of doing that.

Damn. I really wanted the Hurricane to be a name for a small frigate-sized fast type ship, even though I knew it would'nt be... just so that I could grin like a lunatic, and play Alien Sex Fiend's "Hurricane fighter plane" while flying it.
yes, I truly am a Sad, Old, Goth... 
on the other hand, I'm rahter looking forward to more info on all of the tier 2 BCs. :)

For the Minnie ship, they could combine the weather/Norse aspect by naming it Fimbulvetr or Fimbulvintr ("Fimbulwinter"), a succession of three exceedingly harsh winters that precede Ragnarok. :D

Actually, cyclones are any rotation around a low pressure area. This includes tropical cyclones such as hurricanes/typhoons down to tornados.
