CP Seagull comes with exciting news and a high level overview of the Oceanus release which is going to be published on September 30th:
- EVE Online in French
- New cloaking effect
- Improved wormhole nebula
- Improved wormhole visuals
- Additional burner missions (including logistics)

Will the visual effects on wormholes that indicate size of ship that can pass through be overlaid on top of the existing visual effect that shows what class of space is on the other side?
Because the examples don't really show that. |

Surely it would be better to have different sized wormholes (literally make their visual effect bigger or smaller) depending on their mass limit than assigning them arbitrary colours?

Please finish balancing Recons/Logis/Hics/T3 before moving on to modules. Sure it's probably easier to just forget about them but finishing the ships is long overdue. |

Hopefully the Raptor gets a little better with this new balance pass.
But what about Recons, T3s and Black Ops? We're still missing the rebalance for them. Now another release goes by and we're still waiting. And the capitals haven't even been touched yet.
It's good that module tiericide finally begins, but holy **** would it be neat if ship tiericide could finally be finished. With the balancing-tempo right now we'll have the other ships rebalanced several more times before those three groups are finally done.  |

The Raptor and Crusader and pretty terrible at the moment. And Black Ops really need to be made not sucky. The Pilgrim is pretty sad as well.
T3s are a pretty big can of worms though. I expect these will be the last subcap to get balanced and I think they will probably have to be done in their own release given how much work balancing them will be. |

I'll address a bit the ship balancing. Don't get me wrong, it's great that ships are getting worked on, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to follow all the changes especially when you are on 6 week development cycle now. Ships, fits and tactics are shifting every couple of weeks and it's becoming a bit tiresome to go through them all over again every couple of weeks. (I'm talking outside nullsec meta, of course... That's an isolated / separate ecosystem.)
Again, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about work done so far and am not denying that some ships or even classes of ships could use balancing. On the other hand I really hope that major ship balancing will stop in the near future with just small tweaks introduced every now and then. o.0 |

I understand the need for tweaking already existing balance passes, but there are ships out there that haven't been touch. Recons really need a pass and with the time between releases, it should be plenty of time to re-balance one class of ships while tweaking another.

The cloak effect is nice, but I have two issues with that.
Knowing it's a work in progress, I don't doubt it can be improved. Alas, I fear it can be made even worse.
1) The "propagation" effect is a bit slow. It may give more than a quick hint when one decloaks from a gate cloaking and recloaks. Maybe it's intended, and if so, state it clearly. It may become an interesting new feature, UNLESS it's force-fed on us without any warning.
2) If the cloaked ship stays with that hexagonal, translucent, wavy reflective pattern, I think it may create a new player ability: spotting cloaked ships by its hexcloak. The actual effect is VERY difficult to spot. The new one, not so much.

Hmm... unless they've changed it (and I'm pretty sure they didn't) when you are fully cloaked only you see the outlines of your cloaked ship. Everyone else don't see even the outlines.

Thank you for your continued effort and support for the game we love. Go on sisi and see for yourself. just like it is today other players ships disapear completly from overview and space when animation is finished. The local player can see a outline of his ship, but no one else can. |
