Now comes an action of a Different kind. Not unique, but we pay attention. We join this anti-Goon Camp of Pain. They will suffer. Kudos to D2 and BoB for making an understanding. Quite inspiring I say and interesting.

Grats to D2, and kudos to the Goon pilots who have posted with humility in this thread.
Well played both sides.

Understanding?
Oh, right, you think BoB came to D2's rescue or something? Or that they "like" each other?
(Well, they probably like each other more than either of them likes us...)
Whatever.
Hats off to D2 for the great fights. We'll return someday, I'm sure...

Cheers D2. It was much fun. See you in Tribute at the weekend guys. There is even more fun here considering the opponents fly the big stuff at our timezone.

A great month, thanks alot for everything D2+RZR+YW and everyone else in the North, and you earned this win through alot of hardship on your own end with the civil wars raging and all of the other drama. Took alot of tenacity.
It sucks neither side got the exclamation mark at the end of the campaign. I was all pumped up to stay up all weekend and have epic battles... and instead we get a crashed grid on the first engagement when time was critical. Sigh. At least we had a few hours of 'stuck in an elevator' time to gain some respect for each other.
You guys gotta admit though, we surprised you a little bit, didnt we? Seea again soon, i hope.

werd.
I'm still convinced the POS code has a memory leak or something. I find it way more than coincidental, that the 40 minute lag happens to appear right around a massive spamfest of POSs, when the fights had been fine, and fun, previous to that.

We fought for control of a gate one time and I suddenly fell in love with PvPing. It was awesome and I was so pumped when I blew up an Indictor and podded the pilot. My reaction was:
omg Omg OMG OH MY GOD *pod explodes* YES!!!!11111one
I was so pumped. Cloud Ring was awesome! We were evicted, but we had a wicked time up there and if you can't enjoy the fun, why pew pew?

I usually avoid posting here, but I just wanted to chime in and say that I had a blast during this campaign. There was crippling lag affecting both sides, but there was enough fun to overcome that. It's dissapointing that everything ended with the system locked for 8 hours, but I'm sure that there will be more fights in our future. Good job to everyone involved.

Ironically, I think one of the most fun moments was BSing with everyone in local after XZH went out of its mind. Otherwise it was indeed a great time, and the fact that the station was renamed the Sesfan Appreciation Station, if only for a short time, I see as a major victory
Salute to D2, despite all the back and forth between us about lag and petitions and what not, the battles themselves were clean and enjoyable. Here's hoping we can do it again in a few months

Congrats D2. Fighting in XZH has been fun because you were actually willing to fight. Before, living in Syndicate (or even in Outer Ring) nobody wanted to engage us. It became boring. And even though I've personally lost a lot of money in the XZH campaign, fighting against you made it worth paying $15/month to play this game. Cheers and congratulations to all of your efforts. Hope to engage you guys again some day. :)

Agreed. Much respect for everyone we fought up there. I myself had a fantastic time despite the lag. one of my more fond memories will always be us all bsing in local when the node crashed.

Having read this thread three or four times now, the post by smith is the only one that might be considered "smacky". So where, exactly, is this majority?

Went there for the first couple of battles, then moved out in a pod It was great fun, especially because the initial attack was put together in smth like 3-4 hours without any planning. It was a brave move, smth u dont get to see very often these days. The goons went there for the fun, even they didnt expect to hold it that long no matter what diplomats and FCs say. Congrats d2, it was fun as hell when I was actually online at the right time for the fights!
