Maybe if you made it impossible to sort your overview alphabetically it would be a more tactical target calling instead of starting with A or Z names??? sorting by everything else is fine but in my corp we have a few characters that often gets annihilated before even loading grid just because their names start with A

3 Things @CCP FC
- Nice idea and a lot of fun for everyone involved. Obviously. Repeat.
- If you need good fits, learn from eve-kill. Look at what good alliances are flying as fleet setups and ask their FCs how to use them properly - most good (aka leet) pvp alliances have been more than helpful to you during masstests and so on. They will help you. Then pimp these setups using expensive fits / faction ships if you need to. Not the other way round. Oh and NEVER EVER fly Ravens in Armor Fleets (or in any fleet).
- If your enemies aren-¦t even smart enough to use proper target broadcasting / calling and "run down from A", you shouldn-¦t pay too much attention on their comments about Supercaps... especially not, if their demand for nerfed Supercaps is obviously of political nature. Don-¦t forget you wear CCP tags on your names - PL wouldn-¦t care **** about your gang if you weren-¦t CCP or flying Supercaps yourself.

It is due to your character name. Sorry. Most FCs call targets alphabetically. They might skip over a very hard-to-pronounce names (CCP Alice would also fail that test) but otherwise if your name starts with A, B or C, I would suggest preparing for incoming totalhelldeath when hostiles fill the grid. And that's precisely what happened. The FC and wing commanders for the Jita fleet called for the target list to go alphabetically, and we immeditally launched on Alice. As the fight developed, we started identifying some of the Guardians and shield-tankers, but pretty much went down the list from the start. Confirming that for the first primary the fleet shot at, I picked you because you were at the top of my overview. Also, I'm pretty sure I had your corpse, but it got blown up when my ship got blown up. So it's safely vaporised.
Well I feel honoured I was everyone's primary, I think :p Even if it was just because of my name. So now to the very serious business of this matter.. aside from a name change that's not going to happen - what do I need to do to have you guys not call me primary if this ever happens again? Even if my name is first in the list

does your word cloud just count number of occurrences of a word? Because "That wasn't fun" and "I didn't have fun" etc would be counted as "fun" otherwise. |
