Looked like it was a great event, sorry I missed it for the most part. Couple questions though, why the need to add those plex to your cargo holds? Nice infusion of extra billions and billions of isk in the economy that we didnt really need. Second, would this be a good time to spark up the old "keep supers out of low sec" debate again?? (which I think they should not be allowed in low sec for the record)

also i understand a bit more the issue about supercap when i my friend on rifter being killed by a nyx...


they officially said that they wouldn't pod anyone.
so as they did it, they had to reimburse the accidental losses.

One feature I'd request going forward is the ability to have people join fleets with any standing. One issue we ran into with the Jita fleet was that we were limited to invites; the fleet finder functionality did not help us in any way. There were many instances were we needed coordination and shuffling among the various wing and squad commanders to invite people into open slots. Being able to simply set the fleet to have people join it would have been incredibly useful, but we wee limited to "excellent" or "good" standing. Hard to do for a really ad-hoc fleet. A setting where maybe people could join who were in a certain jump radius, or in a channel, or just plain open, would have been great.

Thanks for the fun, and hope to do some more of these in the future.

From an outsider's perspective (I haven't been able to do any meaningful actions for months due to IRL time being heavily restricted), I absolutely love this sort of thing. Taking into account the past few (rocky) months, and the general attitude of the players wrt devs and CCP as a whole, coming here and reading this sort of thing is like a breath of fresh air.

More of these, please! Have some Polaris reporters standing by recording/streaming it so we can have a live recanting of the battle so those of us who couldn't participate can at least view it.

It was fun, I podded CCP Choloepus but then was one shotted by a PL titan

I think you should do these unannounced and just turn up to big alliance staging systems, it wuld be interesting to see how well CCP does in similar sized fleet vs fleet battle and not just an 800 man free for all

The node was reinforced and was doing very well, rarely shooting past 90% load with around 1000 in system.

strange. i know my computer was dying during that fight, but some of the things i was seeing seemed to come from lag.
for exemple i had locking coming back to max time, changing a bit, recoming back to max time and finally either locking ,while timing was off, or saying the target had left /died. isn't that a sign of lag ?

I have to say, I had a great time in the CCP fleet shooting at anything that moved. Is it wrong to enjoy killing your customers this much? At the very least it can't be a very good business model.

I DEMAND!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty pictures and graphs from the data you collected on the node. I know first you guys were out to have fun but i also TEAM KILL LAG WITH FIRE, was also collecting data to analyze to improve the game and fleet fights.

It was a real nice experience and it was very fun, although don't you think that it was allot of meta game? CCP FLEET WTH!? I think you guys can have the same result using a unknown ships that would fit some lore... About that, was there any plan about the notion that it might be a good idea to try sneeking into suj? also, as a matter of curiosity, did you take the lesson about friendship, love and tolerance to heart after that visit? there are lots of useful lessons to be had from that particular brand of love and tolerance !

Thanks for the fight everyone :) It was my first real fleet flight and I had loads of fun, even though I felt like I was playing whack-a-mole with a spreadsheet for awhile (targeting primaries being called out on voice).

I'm just gonna go ahead in point out that I had nothing to do with ANY of those fittings, including the ship I was flying. Thanks!

Most FCs call targets alphabetically. They might skip over a very hard-to-pronounce names (CCP Alice would also fail that test) but otherwise if your name starts with A, B or C, I would suggest preparing for incoming totalhelldeath when hostiles fill the grid.

And that's precisely what happened. The FC and wing commanders for the Jita fleet called for the target list to go alphabetically, and we immeditally launched on Alice. As the fight developed, we started identifying some of the Guardians and shield-tankers, but pretty much went down the list from the start.

Do it in hisec next time and have ccp criminaly flagged to allow more carebear participation. Low sec and nul sec events are always likely to be restricted to big entities blowing up smaller entities that wish to join in.

Use game mechanics to get their aggression, gank them or WD 'em, this is the only way to go. There's no meaning or interest on "giving" something for free, you need to work for it, what's in the wreck cargo is another story and belong to those who made efforts to get it.

Nao, would be nice to form secret alliances and get the crap out of them (CCP) or the others (players/alliances) for the tears this would bring.
