With the Amarr Emperor undecided and the new Galente President of Omber Zombie, I suspect they postponed these event thingies untill factional warfare is unleashed on EVE. Omber will declare on the Caldari state untill Jenny Spitfire is his personal courtisane, and the Amarr will try and abduct Sarmaul when the time is neigh for yet unknown purposes.

Reminds me of last fanfest, plenty of assurances about storyline/events getting some love, oh well, guess it's still the lowest priority by far

pretty sure that the Emperor got banned for trolling. 
tbh though - am expecting a lot of storyline love leading up to the factional warfare. maybe thing are too unknown with that at this point and they don't want to paint selves into corner.

we play on tranquility
we test all our stuff on singularity
all the devs care about is serenity and occasionally singularity there is the problem right there they have to catch up on events and stuff on the chineese server. So that is where most of the EvE dev/event focus is atm.
