It's been 15 months since the emperor was assassinated. Yet we haven't heard a peep about our new one. And it's been close to a year since the last Concord update about the investigation.
Isn't it about time we crowned a new one? Tournament anyone?
This is getting a little rediculous, CCP. It's one thing for the Gallente elections to take forever, they're Gallente. Speed isn't their forte. But this is the fraking emperor we're talking about here. This is someone important!
I need a leader, dammit! Give me my emperor already!

You will find that the Amarr are probably the slowest of the entire bunch. Large, lumbering, and carefully planning decades and centuries into the future. That's what Amarrians do. An emperor is just a temporary thing, they can wait another year.

I'd just like to spoil everyone's fun by stating the outcome of any succession event is entirely irrelevant based on.. well.. the last succession event. If you wanna whine, do it on the grounds of an event being announced and left untouched.. not because you actually care who wins. And even then you're on shaky grounds, because the Minmatar haven't even had one event.

There was a secret ballot, where all the Important people in the Empire voted on it.
We just haven't figured out the best way to announce that they decided a Caldari candidate was the superior choice.
