Edited by: Testy Mctest on 05/08/2006 08:59:06 So last night I was told - neh, promised - that my cards would be getting shipped. The problems have been insane, but it finally looked as if it was going to be sorted.
So I woke up this morning, checked DHL to see where my cards were now, and hey presto; they're still sitting in the CCP offices.
Im a sad and thoroughly disappointed Testy. I'm willing to do everything for this game, give up my time left right and centre, and I've already started putting work into a few things related to it. And no-one can even be bothered picking up some boxes of cards (FOUR megapacks, incidentally, which is a lot of money to spend) and giving them to a DHL guy.
It's really not funny anymore.

If it's any consolation Testy the Cards do actually exist. I was beginning to think it was some big sham but I went and collected mine from DHL this morning and am sat here messily unwrapping everything. The cards look great.
Hope yours arrive soon.

But your DHL tracking showed them moving I assume. I'm not putting moneyon DHL being wrong with their order tracking, so I'm going to assume my cards are indeed still in the CCP office :/ Utterly unbelievable.

Testy, I was at the office till 9 last evening. I'm pretty sure the last DHL bus at our office was around noon. Even if you had gotten that one, DHL doesn't deliver on weekends so it's pretty likely that they simply haven't scanned it in after getting it to their HQ here in Iceland.

I'm tired trying to explain just how poor a customer service incident this is.
And now it's not even going to be Monday, it's going to be Wednesday-Thursday :/

They understand, but it's not really protocol to say 'yeah, we really really screwed up'. -----

Edited by: Liisa on 05/08/2006 13:56:53 Well, I also think DHL is a bit wierd.
My cards arrived in Midland, never left Midland but have arrived in Cologne. Go figure. It would seem somebody forgot to check out the package when it left Midland, not exactly very comforting.

well supposedly my order should have been in the same last batch as testy's...
and mine shows that it was arriving at the dhl iceland office around 1700 hours...
it is now sitting in midlands in uk waiting for the week to start...
so i think they will still have scanned it even though they did not take it any further...

This is why I never use DHL for shipping, regular mail is faster, cheaper and safer... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've had that happen alot.. had packages marked delivered even though it wasn't in my city yet lol... I called the shipper and complained.. spoke to the delivery guys superviser and filed a complaint about it, when the supr told me about drivers getting bonus's for quick delivery times and stuff.. so i made sure he got no bonus off me. lol... and this was UPS. In the states.
(not to mention they left 1200$ worth of PC parts laying on my porch in the suberbs... right across from ahouse full of teenagers)
Luckily nothing was missing.. but i was a bit ticked.

Ouch. The couriers I usually use for PC parts (citylink) are ace. They'll deliver it however you prefer it, they're always on time and the hardware is never damaged. -----

Got mine today, international mail though.
Caldari's starter pack had alittle crunch on it, but I'm 14 foils happier (13 excluding the foil ferox bonus foil).

Not always it seems. International express things are not delivered on saturdays. I know because my package spent the whole weekend (starting 04:00 saturday morning) sitting in Cologne. Even with 2 whole extra days they still managed to forget to have customs take a look at it, so I still do not have it. ---------------------------------- I am free \o/ Sadly your sig is also slightly above the required limits of 400 x 120, total size not exceeding 24000 kbs - Cortes |
