The server now seems to be up and stable again after my little fix in the apache conf, no more running out of resources, and a total of 1000 unique players have tried the game to date. And seeing that it really seems to be appreciated, who knows, there might just be a little baby-chess-pod born in not a too distant future. I hope this does not contribute to more people leaving games because they are about to loose (no, in the current game implementation it is very hard to penalize people who leaves an active game). It has not been tested yet, but I cannot see why there would be any problems with the implementation.
