3x Adaster's Disaster 2x Crooked Accomplice 3x Day Of Retribution 2x Guerilla Warfare (under consideration for replacement) 1x Martial Law 2x Mind Control 1x Mutiny (under consideration for replacement) 1x Remnant of Vak'Atioth 2x Slave Dog Stowaways 1x The Vicious Cycle
1x Bellicose 3x Burst 1x Cyclone 2x Probe 2x Reaper (sometimes you just have to mine...) 2x Rifter 3x Slasher 2x Stabber 1x Tempest 1x Typhoon (cos kamikaze'ing a starbase is soooo fun ) 2x Vigil
So there we go. As you can see, alot of low cost stuff with just enough news and the like to keep me alive long enough to get a big ship if I need it. Normally I end up with a frigate swarm going against the other starbase pretty early on.

Sansha's Nation is your friend there. Costs 1 to put out, if you have a scout on hand you can deploy and control that from round 1.

How do you think a card/cards like War Tattoos would work in that deck?
Actually, when building a deck, I normally start by taking every card I want, then removing things down to a reasonable number. Then I'll play a few games with the expanded deck, and remove from it those things I dont find useful or fit in with the way the deck ends up playing. Not very scientific I'll admit .
As for cards to retrieve ships from the scrap heap, I'm still considering it. May switch to Sansha's Nation as Oveur suggests, or I may go for a couple of Salvage Drones news cards. Needs thought.
