can you file bug reports regarding this, include logfile and dxdiag files so we can have a look at the problem. this is very important, need it doing asap

i have a windows 2k machine setup which is running service pack 4 here and it's able to connect to build 4556 with out any problems. well, the machine sucks and is as much use a choclate tea pot, but it works none the less and the eve client is able to connect to the server as it should do.

if you get the message "unknown" on the server window, it means the server is down

we have recieved some bug reports with logfiles that appear to have the problem logged. i was reading the proxy server logs and i noticed what might be a problem, a bughunter created a defect and i have assigned it to papasmurf and attached the proxy logs also sent him a mail. he will be able to fix this on monday hopefully if we have enough information.
will keep you updated. i have been watching the br for this information and just haven't updated this topic as i had no info til now. i will try to login with some of your character on sisi and see if it's a character problem or client/server problem

ok. think we are on to something here. most the people who replyed to this topic had disabled accounts. i have made the accounts active. can you hop onto sisi and test this out please.
it looks like the "your account is disabled" type window is alittle borked. we are looking into it.

we are deploying a fix on sisi this afternoon that will correct this issue. if your account is disabled, it will now give an message blog type thing.
