why even bother with AF's let along put faction ANYTHING on one....Heretic outshines it in every way.

umm, maybe because the Vengeance isn't as skill intensive / expensive?
maybe to run level 1 complexes / COSMOS that won't allow destroyers / interdictors?
maybe for the armor resist bonuses the heretic doesn't get?

Rigs: 1x CCC 1x Nanobot Accelerator
This ship is an absolute BEAST. perma-runs both reppers, even nossed. Can dish out some pain, and works insanely well as a bait or primary in frigate gangs. Hell, even bombers cant kill it solo. (Even on SiSi mind you, where they're maxed out and have implants etc etc)
Also, if you want range, just swap the Rockets for standard launchers. Not as much damage, but can hit way far out there.

Highs 3 light nuet II's, Arba Rocket launcher
Mids 1mnmwd, cap recharger, warp scrambler II
Lows small armor rep II, 2x adaptive nano plate II, Magnetic Field Stabilizer
So far it has been evil.

I just thought about a fitting, but since the changes to those khanid t2 ships, there are less fittings here, which I would prefer.
So here is what I got... not tested yet.
High: 4x Rocket Launcher II
Med: 1x 1mn MWD II 1x named Warp Scrambler (7.5km Range) 1x named Stasis Webifier
Low: 1x Small Armor Repairer II 1x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II 1x Energized Thermic Membrane II 1x Overdrive Injector II
Ammo should be Faction or at least T2 Rage Rockets, due to the short-range Scrambler.
Worst problem with the setup is CPU... Warp Disruptor (even the named ones) don't fit due to CPU. :( And you should keep an eye on the Cap - active MWD and Repper should be that great. Even yet that fitting isn't satisfying me, but I have no idea of any better setup yet. The Guardian Agency

Even with max skills this does not fit. Both cpu and grid are way over.
I have contemplated using:
MAPC DCU II CPU II Mag stab II
MWD II medium extender of choice disrupt II
ion blaster II X 3 rocket launcher II
This does 150 dps and has effective hitpoints of 9600.
a more traditional setup would be:
SAR II EANM II X 2 CPR II
cold gas MWD Cap booster II (100 charge) Fleeting scram
ion II X 3 Rocket II
This does 123 dps, slightly less but has effective hitpoints of just under 8k and can rep for as long as you will ever need it to.
There is a few proviso's for that thought, you only have a 20km scram and you need max cpu fitting skills to do it.
Both setups ofc are more effective than a rocket setup.

I was quite amazed seeing javelin rockets hit at nearly 30km with maxed skills, but EFT show DPS of only ~105, even with 2 BCU and using some faction mods. Anyone have a nice rocket vengeance setup?
