I currently run 3 accounts, although at one time I had 5 accounts.
My main the PVPer, second account is also a support pvper, and the third being the carebear building/hauling/mining/pos alt to support the pvping.
How many do you all run and what are they used for?

I have 2 accounts, One Standard account (this one) which I actually play, and a Hauler B* that I got with the Power of 2 Account. Was supposed to be my Pirating alt, But decided that keeping up with 2 accounts was a pain. My ^2 account dies in September, and will probally stay there unless I go at it later.
SO really....
1 Account, Paid for Tri-Monthly, with 1 active and one "I don't want you to know its me" alt. Hmmmmmmm mabey about time to make a 2nd alt for fun.... Some of those minmintar look pretty cool, and they have sunglasses!

sold 2 accounts(wel the chars) and started new1 with that powerof2 offer(missed the 1e powerof2 offer by a month so couldnt resist to take the 2e time)

I have 2. I got really tired of getting my ore stolen out from under me, so I made an alt to sit there and haul. He's also usefull when I'm doing level 4 missions to follow me from pocket to pocket picking up loot.

Main, PVP/Fleet with Cap Skills and a Freighter
Secondary Main(not alt), PVP/Logistics Ships primarily with nice jamming skills and almost a Cap Pilot.
I use to have 6 accts back in the beginning but passed them off to corp mates(for free)so they didn't to wait months to get into the good stuff, and I was getting bored anyway.

Currently four accounts (which is silly amounts of USD per month on a game for me). One of them is running on GTCs bought with ISK. Another account will be converting to that soon...heheh. I think I can sustain two acounts on ISK for GTCs and still earn enough to "live on." I'll have to see, though.
2 accounts (40m SP and 17m SP) are alliance accounts, guys who can do heavy industrial/research and also have very good combat skills (nowhere near capital ships, though). I'm thinking of getting rid of the 17m SP guy, though.
1 account (21m SP) is a strictly one-race, PvP-oriented character in an alt corp with no alliance entanglements.
1 account (15m SP) is an Empire building alt who I'm training to combat now that I have all the industrial skills I need/want on it. Got it up to HACs, now heading to command ships.

FFS one, I don't know what would happen to me if I had another...the thought itself scares me, I lost all of July to Eve...
Crazy, Enslaver is still winning with 7 and that is insane.
I can barely manage one account and it's not even like I do a whole lot else. Maybe I'm disorganized. Or maybe I'm bored.

I bought the 2nd character to build ammo for the first character, its sad but true, playing in US times in a Euro game sucks... not even a corp mate on to build you ammo sometimes.
I do have one alt... but he was a mistake... I thought I might actually want to build things in eve as a profession, then I shot some stuff and made the alt Bluestealth, who is now my main. Only took me 2 weeks to figure that out luckily.

I run two accounts one that is my primary and my second account I'm training up for my Fiance to take over and she's about a week from completeing Learning Training and beginning the combat grind. It was one of my requisites for the engagement when I proposed. If she wants to marry me she has to play at least one computer game with me and I chose EVE. :P
