Scoundrelus The Black Fleet Pirate Coalition	Posted - 2006.08.12 15:25:00 - [1] If I were to make a post about alliances it would undoubtedly lean towards the negative side of things. Instead let me tell you MY experience with each alliance. Ushra'khan ---------- They were pleasant enough... at least when they weren't telling me how my Amarr ships were "tainted in sin". Also its incredible how when I joined they had about 300 people or so and I still managed to log on and find only about 0 in alliance chat sometimes. Furthermore I was a newb and they were in like 13.5 different wars. Frege Alliance -------------- First alliance I joined. Within the week they got war decced by a 2 man corporation. Frege alliance consisted of over 600 people. The didn't even try to fight back, they instead gave up their home system and ran like mice. I quit. Forsaken Empire --------------- I must say, it was quite an annoying experience to come back from work, log onto EVE and end up working. Personally I will fight for an alliance without hesitation, but when that alliance won't fight for me then they can go shove it. Heres an example. My hauler is going towards the station. 150km out there is a hostile inty. 10km from me there are 5 alliance ships. Inty MWDs towards me, kills my hauler and the 5 alliance ships don't even move. This happened again at a gate, except the alliance guys ran this time. Vox Imperium ------------ By the time I had joined these guys I was a pirate and hated alliances, but they promised me they were different and I could pirate and would never be called to fight when I didn't want to and be initially free. Typical alliance lies of course. Furthermore when I joined much to my dismay I found that the alliance consisted of 2 corps and 1 was completely inactive. Atrocias -------- I joined Under The Wings of Fury corporation and was promptly booted 8 hours later when my internet connection crapped out during a combat op. Apparently that qualified me as a spy according to the leader who then later changed his story to me being a corp hopper or something. Yes I have a long corp history, half of them are caldari provisions. Now I'm on Pirate Coalition. All they do is pirate. Now THIS is an alliance I can enjoy. No politics, only death. ===============================================

I have been behind the scenes affecting alliances for a year now. F-E crumbled shortly after I joined. Frege lost their home system shortly after I joined. Vox... well they were already dead anyway. Maybe I should join BoB... ===============================================
