Yes the game is dying, POS, dreads, lag, the inability to fight on scale that you wish. WCS, ecm, and so many people giving a **** about dying half the time. 
I have hopes for Kali, so do a lot of people i know, lets hope that it works...if not

The op hits the nail right on the head.
I can talk all day about the "RP" aspect of why I play a pirate or go on about why I "hate alliances" etc. Others probably are more eloquent in their opinions in this same vane as well. But damn, it all comes down to the simple fact that this "pos crap" is just that, crap. It's not fun. *shrug* Sometimes when things seem simple, it's because, well, they really are!

If it isnt that obvious, than it has to be my fault. HF with dread / pos / dread / pos, blablabla. Its just sad. Combat = Happening @ Posses. Rest is insignificant. maybe something for fun, but unimportant. is this the "endgame" of eve? thanks for nothing - pve game
I see your point and even agree with it for the most part...but darn it...we just had a 95 minute battle at a TCF POS in Tribute that was about as much fun as I've had in this game for several weeks.
No..that doesn't change the fact that the games has its flaws..but damn..it was fun.

You whinged and you whinged and you screamed at the top of your lungs "PWNMOBILES SHOULD BE RARE!", and you know what CCP obliged you. They created all of this extensive content that was orders of magnitude more expensive then anything ever seen in the game to that point.
And now, behold EVE the game where the PWNMOBILES are rare and you are not important.
Idiots.... freaking e-peen measuring idiots. The game would have been much healthier if a battleship sold for 10 million isk and dreadnaughts sold for 15 (with the playbalance to match) and there would be pvp galore everywhere and anywhere... but no pwnmobiles must be rare new players can't possibly be allowed to do anything even remotely useful.

Yea alliance warfare is pretty boring.And even once lag gets fixed POS spaming isn't exactly fun.
but lets put some faith in CCP.
