No, for the record you stole from your investors when things did not go the way you liked. You were not holding assets for UEMA protection, you were holding them for Mung Lore and friends protection.
Right now Mung Lore and friends have UEMA's assets, and will not give them back. How is UEMA protected? As the CEO of your company, you deliberately steered the company into a very messy and unprofessional fight with EIB (and you are on record for saying exactly how messy a fight you wanted), and the people who paid for it are the people that trusted you enough to invest in your company. You had a very difficult situation with EIB- I don't fault you for trying to get it resolved, and I certainly don't think Kal has been behaving any better- but it was your JOB to protect UEMA, and you steered it into a dangerous situation, then stole from it. As far as I can tell, you use UEMA as another word for Mung Lore, when in fact it is a separate entity whose welfare you were entrusted to take care of for a time.
When you decided to close UEMA and liquidate assets to return to shareholders, I thought "wow, you know- maybe if he starts another company, that might be something worth investing in." I can't imagine at this point that anyone would ever touch one of your enterprises again.
If you returned everything to Kal right now, you would have done the best you could for your company (aside from deliberately escalating things into this crisis). If Kal then kept everything and disappeared into the blue, it would not be your fault. You may feel that Kal would definitely do this, but it isn't your decision. There is every likelihood that what you returned WOULD find their way to the investors, although it is pretty clear that Kal is going to do everything he can to make you unhappy about the process, but it would be the best thing for UEMA.
Um, yep.. pretty much. Do that.
It'd be in everyone's best interest, MOSTLY your own. Not even including the threats about revealing your mains and whatnot. If you ever have the desire to be an entrepreneur again using in toon you have already in existence, and assuming Kal Ripken will deliver on his threats, you only have a single option.
Put aside your pride and protect your own future..... married men do it every day.
