EIB official statement.
As of this moment I am assuming control of the EIB and all its interests. This is due to the fact that Cally has become incapable of running the EIB at this time.
In regards to his absence, I can give you the following reasons. Should you believe them or not I couldn't care less but this is the situation as it has been confirmed so far.
Cally's recent disapearance has been down to a severe case of bad luck. Much more than is believable in fact, However we have confirmed their is a valid reason behind the absence.
It seems for reasons we will not disclose here, that Cally as EVE knows him has been enjoying accomadation at her majesty's pleasure. The email sent to EMFi, despite my suspicions has been confirmed as legitimate. Upon further investigation it appears that Cally has entrusted his real life issues to a guy named Peter. This was confirmed by speaking to this person for real, firstly via Cally's email address, and then secondly via the personal contact details Cally passed on to EMFi during the Audit, namely a personal phone number. We confirmed this was not Cally, and infact Peter. According to this Peter, Cally had asked Peter to send mails in a certain mailbox and 'give an excuse' to why he was away and unavailable. Cally did not want people to know he had been incarcerated apparently because this was something he felt that people did not need to know. Understandable as who wants people who have no face knowing your real life business.
This Peter does however seem to be a few apples short of a full barrel. When first contact was made with him, he assumed Cally was running some sort of real bank and people from abroad were after real money from him. He though EMFi was some sort disgruntled business partner even. I got the impression that this Peter guy is an associate in whatever Cally does in Real life and seems to the type of person who spends much of his time on the wrong side of the law. This may also be the case with Callys apparent incarceration. Looking at Callys supposed business' in Real Life, the reason behind his absence can be expected to be more likely legitimate than not.
Peter thought it was a good idea to use the bus crash excuse since it happened in real life and he thought that if these foreigners who's money Cally had in his posession would see that, they would accept the excuse. He decided to use this 'blag' as he put it to keep his friend in the clear until his return. He basically didn't realise that the demands for callys attention, bank details, and money were infact for a game a bunch of sad loser play all day.
I have yet to confirm Cally being incarcerated at her majestys pleasure, but I am looking into it. It more than likely seems the case that this claim from Peter is infact legitimate.
From what Peter tells me (what I could understand from his strong northern accent) Cally will not be back for a very long time unless of course his luck changes.
On this basis I will be taking over the EIB operations.
I ask that people bare with me since things are a complete mess at the moment. I have authorised the withdrawal of all accounts but we must be given time to liquidate assets I currently hold. This means I have buy and sell orders to liquidate, minerals to sell, and other things to take care of, but the total amount of public investment in the EIB can be covered by the assets I hold and the other directors have so reimbursement will not be an issue, the only thing that is an issue is the time we need to complete reimbursement.
We will continue to run the bank, and all its sub corporations as normal.
This means you can still bank with us, you can still apply for loans, insurance, and of course dividends for the EIBI will still be paid as normal.
Accounts are going to be managed by Xendraii and Crazy Bugger so please send all your enquiries to them.
I will make further announcements as I see fit.

Perhaps you laugh, but note there is no delaying tactic in this claim.
Kal claims that he will compensate the shareholders and will keep the bank going, rather than run off with it.
If he's lying, nobody can do anything at this point: in fact, it would not give him any benefit to lie anyways: he could run off with the money no matter what..
It seems as if the final chapter in this story is coming to a close.

Oh come on, Dark, even you don't believe these fairytales anymore. I was just having a laugh at the reference to "robbing Peter to pay Paul". Was that intended, Kally? If so, nice one.
And are we going to hear who "Kal" 's main is supposed to be?
I want an evil twin arc next. |

I have a grand total of 0 ISK invested in the EIBI.
The only way I have any relation with them is that I have money in EMFI, who has money in EIBI.
Even if EIBI goes under, from what I know EMFI has failsafes to ensure that zero ISK will be lost.
This means that I have absolutely zero stake in EIBI surviving.

EMFi knows who my main character is, and knows of the corporation my second main is in because it has had many dealings with his mains corporation in the past. (doesn't mean friendly dealings
Current changes coming into effect :
The EIB will be ran as I see fit, no one else. As of now the audit is over and EMFi has been asked to remove himself from the EIBI and destroy all documentation regarding EIB operations and secrets.
Should the sceptical and others wish to remove their investments then please do so. I neither want or need your support in running the bank and its operations - we can do fine without you.
If you wish to do business with the EIB then it is on my terms and not up for discussion.
Loans are to be repaid to Xendraii as normal and I expect all clients with contracts with the EIB to honour them.
UEMA will be taken over by the EIB. A vote has been cast to remove Mung Lore from the CEO position and he will be replaced by one of our staff. UEMA operations will continue under the supervision of the EIB.
I will post more as I see fit.

This is somewhat arrogant... and possibly deadly to the EIB's credibility.

I can confirm that I received a nasty email from one of the directors 'ordering' me to this effect.. I have replied a nasty email to that director that I don't take orders from him and that Kal and Cally have got my email address and are perfectly able to communicate with me directly if they wish

Uh huh.
So the people of Eve are supposed to just hand over billions of isk to a 2006 alt whose main must be kept secret for unknown reasons?
The last time they did that was, well, Currin Trading.

Edited by: Kal D''vogh on 15/08/2006 01:13:05 EMFi will be invited to do a full audit once I have got the EIB in a fit state to offer something presentable that he can actually audit.
The mistake made previously is the system in place that was used was totally audit unfriendly.
Nothing was recorded by conventional means - I.e ingame methods because it was not suitable for what we were doing.
His audit result will should he post it now, be inconclusive. A waste 6 weeks which were not his fault, but the fault of the system that was in place.
As I stated, once I have the books in an acceptable state, and divisions working correctly along with transactions logged with comments and such then he will have the opportunity to examine the books should he want to take a look.

Been there, done that. No re-runs, Cally, we want new material.
If you want to do the audit show again, why don't you start by having Naphtalia reveal the secret identity of your main? Not that we don't know it, of course--we just want to see what sorry 'toon gets dragged into your drama next to play the role. |

there is a buy back policy in place
you can take your isk out of the bank and sell back your shares
or bank with eib and own shares of eibi
he doesnt care which option you take...
I need a buyer for upwards of a billion in zydrine per week eibi has came thru for me every week for a long time now... as long as they pay me.. i'll happily sell them my zydrine :)

My heart bleeds for your misunderstanding. I was commenting on the words he used to describe people who play computer games to attempt to portray the type of knuckle dragging character he was. These were his words, and not mine. I will edit the post with the appropriate punctuation to get this point across. If this has upset you then by all means withdraw your isk and investment from the bank. I won't stop you.

Sorry, nothing new from me--no episodic drama. Cally was a scammer back in July, and he's still a scammer now.
But as for predictions? At the beginning of the audit, pro-Cally people were predicting it would be fully of verifiable information proving the legitimacy of his business. The skeptics predicted it would provide no information and merely serve as a vehicle for lots of delays and excuses.

If you answer yes, do you think that your accusations could actually affect how much isk people can get out of the bank?
What about, we see if the tellers actuall still do banking and people can get their isk out..
And what about you start trying to burn down EIB after people have had a chance to do so?
Is there any risk in waiting to see, I mean tomorrow CrazyBugger will log in, we will see if he will handle withdrawals.. after that... I guess... we can call people scammers or not?
