I'm shocked that on a pretty important thread full of EVE's issues, the best a Dev can come up with is a mining joke... We already know minings a joke... give the Deimos some powergrid!!! <3 Devs.
My three?
-Make all warps from gate to gate instas - people would still need to slingshot themselves if they wanted to insta, and we'd have alot less lag.
- Give the Deimos easier fittings!
- NERF STABS! NERF!!! NERRRRRRRF! And ecm!

1) 30 minute log out timers when engaged in combat, or agressed regardless of ship class, to solve logging in combat or to avoid gatecamps while cloaked.

The ability to move drones from my cargo to my dronebay while in space would be nice. Make there be a delay or whatever so people can't do it in battle but outside of a fight I'd really like to be able to do this.

The state recording idea that was tossed around by the devs years ago, where the client lets you playback a series of events to get different camera angles and such. 4. An option to disable the vertical lock on the camera, I'd like to be able to swivel the full 360 degrees even if it is disorienting for some people.

1. Sub-systems. First of all, they should be targetable. Second, once you get into structure, they should start to go, one by one, from least critical to most critical. So, lets say, it would start with high slot mods, move to mid slot, move to low-slot, move to engies, move to sensors (overview), move to warp drive, move to engines, then boom.
2. Line of sight combat. If your charge/missile hits something on the way, it damages that, not it's target. This would also put a dampener on blob warfare.

Stops the nonsense where a single 500k isk frig can pin down a BS. Change warp stabs so that they increase the mass of a ship, causing an instant penalty in combat for stab *****s, while helping to counter scram. God knows why it wasnÆt done this way in the first place.
2.Add entry timer to complexes, limiting players entry to each complex once every 24 hours and slightly increase frequency and randomise respawn timer on npcÆs and structures in the plex. Why oh why did you set up a system for camping *****s to exploit?
3.Random spawns in space, accompanied by a message in the system and adjacent systems calling players to come and attack/defend assault/pirate forces, could tie in nicely with faction warfare in kali and would help the universe feel more chaotic and believable. Random events in general would be great and could be generated by code on the server cluster.

1. RTS-style tactical fleet command (combined with new system scanning, no bookmarks, and point-and-click go-anywhere-in-solar-system navigation.) I'm talking break fleets into fire teams, squads, set waypoints by squad, set targets by squad - or have delegates set targets - assign roles to pilots or squads, and have an overview displaying fleet makeup and health in some easy to use fashion.
2. No bookmarks. Replace with homeworld-esque point-and-click 3d navigation for solar systems (utilizing new system scanning.)
3. To shift the balance upset of removing instas, make bubbles usable in empire but only affect "valid" targets (pirates, war targets.) And/or make jump scramblers -- so you can stop someone from jumping out.
And, fourth -- not a feature, but -- Fix the lag. (Yes, I know, Dragon code blah blah blah I'll believe it when I see it -- no offense, devs, ya know I lub ya ;))

I love eve's depth both in economy and combat, I feel both are cheapened by their current implementations, especially combat. I can deal with having an inty sniped by a battleship if that's the outcome of a reasonably robust simulation, that's pretty cool and pretty rare. As the outcome of a dice roll, it sucks and happens way too frequently. Same thing with ships missing due to high orbit speed. I anticipate most of DC's fleet changes to fall out naturally from a good turret simulation.
P.S. Unnerf medium/small lasers, Khanid Mk2, Abaddon as a drone ship. Go Amarr! -- I have 4million SP and an exclamation mark for a face... |

1. Fix the content - all the bugged module descriptions, agent text, misplaced bonuses, etc. 2. Remove all bookmarks on the same grid as a warpable object. 3. Better corp management tools (what am I spending the corp wallet on/earning money from?)
Have two more, since I'm generous that way.  4. Reduce 0.0 rat bounties and loot to be more in line with the risk. 5. Fix the content - where's the new president/ emperor/ explanation for new ships/modules/skills? |

1. IDSs (Intrusion Detection Systems ;) that are anchorable (like POSes, for example), but can be placed near gate(s), and warn of any non-friendly (neutral or less than 0) jumps through the gate. IDS could transmit info to read-only chat channel, and people could see if/when hostiles show up at gates. Obviously, these IDSs should be destroyable as well, with considerable firepower. Limit number of IDSs per region/constellation/whatever, so that we don't end up with IDS spamming. Unfortunatelly, this would require that EVE allows alliance-wide standings and many more things which will or will not be present in Kali.
2. WCS should carry (negative) bonus (locking time, speed, sig radius, etc, etc)
3. Scan probes that can find cloaked signature. If someone is cloaked, make it possible for us to find the sig, and throw us in radius of 50km from the cloaked object. So cloakers don't get to have 0% risk anymore, while sitting cloaked for hours/days. Or make probes scan for 15-30 minutes, so that cloakers have to move from time to time, and not statically sit there for hours/days.
3a) Make people who logoff in hostile (claimed) space show up on scanner even after they've logged off. Or make them visible for 15 minutes after logoff. I mean, ASCN enemies don't logoff in Esoteria of Feythabolis because "they had to urgently take kids to school" or anything similar. They did it to avoid being found and/or killed, and logging off like this really looks like an exploitation. Leave empire and NPC controlled 0.0 space logoff behaviour as it is.

Almost identical to my own.
1. POS combat is terrible, boring, laggy, have no idea why this ever went live.
2. Agree verbatim on BMs, just let people warp to the gate outright.
3. Increase incentives to move into low sec and 0.0. You can know when you are in highsec just by looking at local and thus it's obvious most players in the game don't feel the risk vs. reward balance for low sec and 0.0 is properly balanced. Move choice mission givers out of places like Motsu to 0.0 for conquerable stations and do small details that makes living in empire attractive over 0.0 (Station containers! My kingdom for 10 station containers!)

2. Fix Complex loot tables. Fix Respawn times.
3. P&P needs to be much more user-friendly. Buddy-list should be able to be organized at any time, instead of just when you add people to it.
4. Let me add quantities of items to a current order on the market, instead of canceling and then re-listing.
5. Please make Caldari as uber as many people think they are. i.e. 4x rail T1 frig, Fix (increase) the Moa's PG, Give the Ferox an extra Turret HP and increase PG to accomodate, give us some more creative bonuses instead of the all-too-common 5% Shield Resistance Bonus and the 10% Optimal Range Bonus. Make Caldari ships decent without having to T2 them out.
6. When I jump into a new system, have my ship already facing the direction of the next destination, instead of some random (usually opposite) direction.

I'd like to see that most of the ships fighting at 0-80km maybe and only a few ships pounding from farer away like 120km. I think that was the original intention and not that we have two blobs shooting eachother from 190km, one gang kills 1 or 2 ships with focussed fire and rest warps out to safe for another 10 minutes => boring.
2) fix pos wars. They are boring, lead automatically to blobbing and lag and the winner is the pos. Don't know how, but one thing that should be changed is the ability to move pos fuel with jump-drive ships and maybe also control towers. Find some RP excuse, like that the radiation of some of these things interfers with jump-drives.
3) well, don't now, there are already nice kali features like wcs nerf, Invention, new scanner and probes, maybe even change to instas and local. Ok, before I forget it: Force people to login in again after they jump through a gate. They can go offline somewhere else, it's mega-lame to log there and fix speres and bubbles that you can't escape them by logging off.

1. Add a "Warp to 0 km" option to the rightclikmenu. Everbody is already having the insta-bookmarks and copying them only creates lag and costs tons of gametime we could use for other stuff. Interdictors and bubbles work fine.
2. POS war are just boring. This needs a major overhaul.
3. Modify 0.0 local so that you can see everybody when you have sov. If you do not have sov you see only persons that are talking.
