Empero Amarr Legio Ancientis	Posted - 2006.08.17 04:48:00 - [1] Hey Community, something really strange situation happned to me few minutes ago. I came in my hauler (full with npc loot) to a jita gate and was invited to gang my a noob. I joined it it to find out what he want... Few seconds later iam the target of a Guy called: "Neverwinter Nights" and he was neutral to me. Ok, he in a Domi, me in a hauler with 4 stabs and 2 jammer. I left the Gang and joined my corp gang back. He targeted me, i jammed him and warped out to a planet. Few seconds later he came also to the belt ( no wonder, he saw in which direction i warped ) ... so, i warped out to a other planet and voila, few seconds later the domi again on my overview.. full with shield, full of armor, never been attacked by the Concord. 33km away, iam with full spead alligned to a other planet and waiting for concord. 2 minutes left, he is still 33km behind me and no Concord. I was bored and a bit afraid of that and warped again out. On the next planet the guy warped 0m to me and i was still going on warp to the safespot which i maked meanwhile. BUT NOW! Something mysterious happend.. He didnt scrambled or webbed me. he did nothing. he sind drones to me, and asked me for some millions to let me go. Well, i paid him that few millions because he seems to be having no clue that my hauler was full with hundert of millions... He let me head on and i warped away.. The question is: How did he make this? I wasnt scrambled and i wasnt webbed, i could not stop my warp with control+space, i could not warp to a other destination. the option was missing in the righ-click menues... and finally he wasnt attacked my concord. It was also very strange that he always knows where iam .. he warped everytime to the correct planet. He was all the time with full shield.. That all looks like a nice exploit.. -- May the forces be with you!
Sakura Nihil Tharsis Security	Posted - 2006.08.17 05:01:00 - [2] Sounds like you ganged his alt, which he had a wardec against - meaning, he could legally attack you without CONCORD's interference. OMG, WCS Nerf!

Concord dont react to aggression within a gang. as to how he followed you, i can think of 2 possibilities 1) you didn't leave his gang like you thought, so he just used the warp to gangmate command. 2) your chosen escape path only had one destination making it obvious where you would be going

Never accept a gang invite from anyone you do not know. Could be he was lucky in following you, if you both warp to the same place you will be close. Jita is a highly populated system, could be the server was lagging a bit. Learners permit still current

Just another loser exploiting yet another poor EvE mechanic that CCP created but doesnt have the management skills to recognized as being an exploit that should be fixed. And yes its an exploit of the game mechanics. If your definition of English words is so ****ty that you think 'exploit' means something punishable by a game company then you should refund the money your parents invested in your education. He was blinking red because he had aggressed you. About the drones, he may have been using webbing drones or ECM drones... They just flash yellow when they are "firing". Basically, your heart was in your throat after being chased around by a domi and you freaked out and thought something was all messed up. They probably had you scrammed and you didn't even notice. The "war" is between: Mining Carebears and Industrial Carebear AFK'ers Both of their corp descriptions say something to the effect of: We are a mining corp in highsec. Please accept our gang invites so you may join us in mining. They are both 1 man corps. Innocent Mistress (the n00b) and Neverwinter Nights (the n00b (only 5 months old) with a domi). If you have a small corp, you could definately wardecc them and at least put them on the run. Just watch out and make sure he doesn't run back to his old corp and have them wardecc ya back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Win a Cynabal for 10ml!!!

I've found most people know to send me a quick pm if they want a convo with me while I have this option on and it stops "tactics" like this from being used. WE ARE DYSLEXIC OF BORG. The first time someone tried this on me, I saw the message and I knew something was strange so I read the rest of the info box and figured out exactly what he was trying to do. It's really simple to figure out... and if you can't, than maybe WoW would be a better game for you!

This is hardly an exploit, or an I-WIN button. It's simply being creative with the game mechanics. An exploit is something there's no defense for, like login traps, say. The defense here is common sense. --

You cant shoot your own gang members if they aint in your corp. This is different. -----
