Would be awesome without the lag 
5 sec+ module lag with no fighting going on and ~80 people in local sucks.
I'm hoping for more hamsters and some gf's in the next couple days.

The BoB forces have been in YZ-LQL since Monday, August 14th. They've got a strategic POS up where pilots can relax without the fear of dreaded probes popping up within maximum scan range. BNC and DICE are representing BoB.
The CELES and Outbreak forces have offices in both NPC stations, and try to log out in safespots when they need to go offline. BoB covert ops ships have been spotted cloaking in our 330 au safespots, and 3 au probes have been scanned at some of our closer deep safespots. There is no rest for us there, but so far vigilance and luck have averted disaster.
There is a period everyday where Outbreak/CELES are outnumbered and have a few critical battleships stuck in the stations. We engage in a strange game of wack-a-mole where they try to wack our undocking bs, we try to wack their interdictors, and our covert ops pilots earn their pay.
Then we take turn dangling our fleets out. After 10 minutes of positioning our fleet today I convoed a friendly BoB fellow and asked why they weren't attacking us. He said, "What?! You're at the gate?! We're at the station!" We then warped to a pounce point on the station as they warped to a pounce point on the gate, completely missing each other, and the eventual fight was delayed for 30 minutes as we tried to get setup again.
The fleet fights are exciting for me. The second I, or they, are out of warp, I am forced to warp. I don't know why I am so popular. So this has resulted in me warping out with structure on maybe 6 different engagements, getting caught in an interdictor sphere once, ship destroyed by fleet fire and podded by an obnoxious interceptor pilot.
I know his name and I do take it personally. 
BNC and DICE have a better round the clock presence than CELES/Outbreak, but at peak times things are roughly equal.
The weekend is here and increased playerbase manifested itself in bad lag during todays fight. No lag had been present until today, with roughly equal sized battles held on Wednesday and Thursday.
During the first 4 days of fighting there have been roughly 60 battleships destroyed from BNC/DICE and CELES/Toxin. Thats just weekday nights, and BoB is still moving assets into YZ-LQL. This weekend should be epic in terms of insurance payouts. Lag could ruin it though.
If we identify a pilot who is jettisoning corpses or cargo containers outside of our stations to bump undocking battleships, we'll make sure that that pilot dies. Distinguishing yourself in fleet battles is never a good idea.
"Hahahaah, I made them unable to undock by cleverly jettisoning garbage!"
"They blew me up again. wtf!"
I am having a great time. I appreciate the fact that BoB has come to Fountain. It's a lot of work and we give all you BoB guys our thanks.

I sent a petition before the fleet fight asking if the node could be reinforced or whatever, not entirely sure how that's done but i hear it can work! But 2 laggy fleet fights later i recieved a message back, in short it said no. . I hope the fights throughout the rest of the weekend aren't as laggy as they were tonight.

I demand you guys stop this fight immediatly and not continue to fight until I'm back on tuesday (we can fight on patch day \o/) and not at work!!
I only had the pleasure of fighting BoB on thursday but so far I'm just as pleased as I was back in FIX in early 2005 :)
Oh and Marko, thanks for the post, makes me remember why I follow you around the galaxy yet again :)
