yeah I was hoping to get some good fights this weekend but alas it appears the lag monster snuck in on Friday and devoured the sea-horse.
As such attempts to engage in battle with the friendly faces in local has proved difficult, to near impossible.
Hopefully the situation can be resolved sometime soon and the terrible beast be slain, well at least for a few days until he respawns  .

Well thank **** CCP has made all these great upgrades to the servers so atleast there is no lag when 30 people want to play in one system.
To bad 400 people can't play the game fine in 1 empire system though...
Oh..nm, it's the OTHER WAY AROUND!

Lag and server crashes made the weekend a wash.
On Sunday BoB shifted some forces back to Syndicate to deal with Goonswarm un-turtling. I can't blame them - fighting in this lag is just silly, and local is only at 40.

Same in Tribute. A comparative few in local and 20 sec module lag. Might aswell just not play atm.

My weekend.
I pod jumped back to empire Friday night to bring up a new recon. Picked out my pilgrim and got it fitted out. Logged out for the night.
I Sleep in on Saterday and log in. I got to the gate to jump into F7C and the server crashed. @%$#T#$#%$!!!
Once the server came back up it took 15 minutes to log in. Finally jumped into F7C. \O/. Just for fun I wait cloaked at the gate for a few minutes and low and behold a maller flying pirate comes in and sets up on the gate to camp. (MMMMM Yummy. I put on the music from JAWS.) Im cloaked in a pilgrim and begin to approach for the kill. Distance is dropping 15k,14,13,12...6,5....OMFG! The server crashed again! #%R$^$$##$%^!!!!! CCP you @$@#%$%!!
Sigh, once the server came back up I waited the customary 15 minutes for the screen to load. The maller was gone of course. I cant right click anything. I can't check info on anyone. I can't get the scanner to work. FFS there are only 3 ppl in system. At this point I warped to a planet and logged out. I can't play like that.
Sunday, I logged in to silly lag and managed to get to a SS at least and logged out. Oh well, wasted weekend really.
Anyway the last week was pretty good. BOB has been playing pretty much straight up. The timing of the majority of the larger fights have been mostly Euro time zones. I miss out on most of those but there has been plenty of skirmishes in the US times to keep me entertained. So far it seems that everyone from both sides are having a good smack free time. If CCP can sort out the server issues the fun can resume.
Oh and my sig is the hottest of them all!

In my opinion a very well handled fight BOB, even though I was one of the first to bite the dust. Also lost the talisman set but wth, you deserved it. Not very laggy either. Good game.

i miss my beatiful ship it served me so well but on the plus side i dont have to re-insure it now
gotta say nice use of spartaco and the last bubble was very placed perfectly wich got you a nice amount of kills.
looking at the overal numbers we didnt doo all to bad looking forward to the next fight.
