I would take that any day over the 150km+ fighting tbh. Agreed. The problem that presents itself is everyone else is gonna fight at that range, leaving you very vulnerable. Perhaps if CCP made ewar INEFFECTIVE AT CLOSE RANGES there would be a reason to get up close and personal. As it is, there isn't.

Time will come where we will have lot more variaty in single fleet fights.....both long range, close range, small ships, med ships, large ships involment at same time. Cavalary, infrantry, cannons, snipers,etc,etc...different strategy as it use to happen and still does in RL (well not cavalery any more, but i hope you get idea) -------------------------------------------- Space available for advertising atm

fireraven Though The Darkness	Posted - 2006.08.24 17:37:00 - [176] ya but ew is so shattered even snipers realy cant get away form soem of the elete ew pilot's i got a rook that has an optimal jamming range ofver over 200km and the fall off is over 50km so that can basicly take any long range sniper out of a fight and the cool rook has a 184km lock range w/o a huge amount of sencor boosting i just run 1 signal amp 2 on low slots SOME MUST BE TOLD OTHERS MUST BE SHOWN
