Edited by: Chaoswynd on 20/08/2006 00:16:10 Well most of my old favorites have already been mentioned, but here's a few that haven't:
Star Blazers Dungeons & Dragons Silverhawks The original Transformers, of course GoBots, although I don't recall actually liking it Bionic Six Captain Power And The Soldiers of The Future, sort of a pseudo-live action cartoon Defenders of The Earth Gummi Bears and The Adventures of Winnie The Pooh Droids :P The Ewoks Galtar and The Golden Lance, old favorite The Real Ghostbusters M.A.S.K. man did I have a lot of their toys
Hmm, that's really all I can remember the names of.
Damn, someone mentioned dungeons & dragons and gobots :P

I am shocked and appaled that nobody has mentioned one of the greatest cartoon series, not only of the 1980's, but of all time.
I am of course referring to Dogtanian and the 3 Muskahounds

HAMMER MAN! HAMMER! HAMMER MAN! HAMMER!
Wherever there's a CRIME Some crooks are gonna do TIME They all better beWARE Coz the HAMMERMAN will be THERE!
Here's how it STARTED, a long time AGO The legend of THE HAMMER and how it began to GROW!
He was given magical SHOES By a HIP HOP MOTEL DUDE Together they had POWER, they stood up for what was RIGHT! But gramps was getting old, and he couldn't keep up the FIGHT!
So gramps and his grandaughter, they went out on the ROAD To find a man, who they knew could jam, who was worthy of the LOAD
They met a guy named Stanley, who was dancin every NIGHT He helped the kids play every day, his heart was out of SIGHT
So Gramps opened up the bag, and took out the magical SHOES He put them on the ground, and they soon began to GROOVE
Yep the shoes knew at once they had finally found their MAN They hopped right on his feet and he became, HAMMER MAN!
HAMMER MAN! HAMMER! HAMMER MAN! HAMMER! AW YEAH!!
(note: the nostalgia made me come twice while writing this) -omg-

Edited by: Winter Star on 21/08/2006 15:43:38 Ulysses 31 & Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors were my first favourite cartoons.
Note the interesting nugget of information that this was written by the creator of Babylon 5 and that he also worked on Real Ghostbusters and Captain Power! .
Both these series totally captured my imagination and I am sure they had a big effect on my likes and dislikes that continues to this day.
Centurions was good but didn't grab me like Ulysses & Jayce. I also used to like Thundercats and M.A.S.K.
I think the only cartoon since those that I've liked just as much has been X-men & Mysterious Cities of Goooooooooooooooooold!.
Non-cartoon...... it has to be Knightmare
