Market Research Lab reads: "At the end of your turn, you may look at the top card of any market. You may then place that card at the bottom of that market."
A bit of weird wording. What if you don't want to place it on the bottom of the market, do you just put it back on top?
Also, Ambush says that it does damage at the beginning of the withdraw step. If the battle lasts multiple phases, do you continue doing Ambush damage each time?

Thanks, I've got another question.
For cards such as Basilisk and Mercenary Outpost (I believe that's the name) where you can spend 1 ISK to prevent 1 damage, can you:
1. Use that multiple times per turn, and
2. Use it right before damage is applied?

1. Yes. Unless it says 'use only once per turn' (like remote research facility), you can use the ability as many times as you are able and want to.
2. Yes. You can use it at any time when a news card could be played unless it states otherwise (like forsaken ruins for example). Which means you can use it after ship combat damage is on the pile for instance.

Here is a follow up to the market research lab question. If you have 2 market research labs how do the interact?
1. I pick up the 2 top cards and put 0-2 of those at the bottom.
or
2. I pick up top card and if I put it on the bottom I can now pick the new top card optional put it on the bottom.
or
3. Only 1 market research lab can ever have any effect.
I found option nr 2 to be the most likely one but best to get a second opinion.

The ability happens twice they both go on the same pile.
You may look at the top card and if you put it back on top you then can look at it again.
So that would be option 2

Option 2 is correct. You can technically look at the same card twice and leave it there twice, which is pointless. So of course, when you resolve the first one and find a card you're keeping, you might as well use the second one to check your opponent's library, rather than wasting it.
