I see a lot of threads earn 1/10 on the troll scale, and most other threads land somewhere between 4-6. So I'm curious... what sort of trolling constitutes a ten out of ten? What do you fine connoisseurs of trolly trolling consider to be a masterful artpiece of troll? Can you provide any links, or examples to particularly well done ingame or forum trolls (the trolling actions themselves, not the people)?
Scams are alright, but I figure they fall into a different category unless the point of the scam was to enrage the person instead of make money or some other economic thing.
Generally, from what I know of the enigmatic concept, trolling must be believable to those unaware, hilarious to those aware, and generally result in some sort of mayhem and/or tears. Lately it seems causing some effective rabble-rousing seems to be a requirement. Stirring up the revolutionary pot, as it were.
So let's see it. What is a 'good troll'? |

To the OP, if you want a perfect troll, go look up some of Tarminic's work on the old forums. It go so bad that they had to bring in CCP Prism X to nerf him.
Also confirming that CCP Tuxford has achieved a 10/10 troll on the game itself by starting a 60 second restart timer on the production cluster (TQ) instead of his local server. |

Step 2) Bring up said topic with a list of absolutely ridiculous points that make no sense
