Perhaps a few dozens of billions? So no wonder Dentara wasn't eager to provide proof, nor give names of the many alliances who lost hundreds of billions. -Lasse

Dentara said in the Eve-NN interview that he will put a bounty of 100 billion ISK on his own head in about a month. So we will all know either way at that point. He also stated the cash scammed was around 500 billion with the balance an estimation of market value of BPOs, taking it up to 790 billion. If it wasn't for those pesky EMFIs, he might have gotten away with up to another 200 billion cash, he says. (There's a principle of literary-historical criticism which applies here - "if it makes the author look bad, it's probably true".) It is not in his interests to name those he scammed. He wants them to build up their cash again, not have other scammers muscling in on his action. How would names help anyway? The alleged victim will deny it, then what have you got? There's honour amongst thieves, it seems! It is possible but highly improbable that victims will admit they were scammed, since it makes them look stupid in proportion to the amount they were scammed. (Hence, quite a few posts here from people saying they made money from EIB, or lost less than a billion, but none saying they lost a significant amount.) I did see a commenter on one of the sites that reported the EIB scam saying "I lost 20 billion ISK, 2 years of work, and I'm quitting", but obviously it's just a comment on a 3rd party site and should be evaluated as such. Anyway, we'll have to stay tuned for the bounty-hunting and faction-ship events - better than some crappy mothership getting goonswarmed!

Off-course a Vagabond being offered for 170 mil - or was it 140 ..., was very fishy but due to the good reputation EIB was enjoying he walked away with quite some ISK - 1 bil .. maybe. At the end of the scam he got into an argument on the Ships channel that concluded in him saying that he will reveal the name of the person behind calli; i thought that deserved the small convo fee, and we got into a group chat. The linky is a PNG of the chat. Whomever is interested, contact me in-game and i will send you by e-mail the entire chat - that's maybe 40% of it. At that time i had considered depositing 200-250 mil in EIB, but having read a few times Currin's ... novel, i decided against it. I had no ideea who Dentara Rast was or is.

ISK was sold totalling ú21,347 7 accounts sold and went for ú4,744 So, netted myself just over ú26K, which isnt all that bad for 6 months of playing a game for a few hours per night. Alot less than it was worth but ****, I had to sell it in bulk anyways. Free money is the best sort , no matter what its worth. I used multiple email addresses, registered my eve accounts in different names etc, around 30 different ebay accounts, you name it. It was impossible for CCP to prevent me doing this and NO WAY for them to prevent me to do it again. Hence why this dude is still able to do stuff :) - unlinked account FTW!!! HIT ME WITH YOUR BANZOR STICK!! HIT ME!! HIT ME!! There is around 200b still available to me (on those accounts not linked ), which im either going to flog off again for christmas, or make a treasure hunt for you all just as a thank you and to show no hard feelings Just realise one thing people, where there is a will there is ALWAYS a way and there isnt a damn thing you, the law, nor CCP can do about it. "Unlimited" PvP of all sorts attracts complete and utter ass-hats like you, who get applauded for ripping people off ("yey I just shat in my own nest!"), all the while you have no concern for anything other than yourself. You scammed, got your reward, got applauded for it, now ** off.

People do learn (even from the painful lessons) and I think you'll find the the difficulties in doing something like you did again may curb your enthusiasm. You don't strike me as a clever enough (no offense, I'm just saying) to do another scam different enough and creative enough to have the same chance of success. You've proven your a "one-hit-wonder", and for that, congrats. But your going to have to kick it up a notch to do much more honestly. And yes, we all sit on the edges of our seats, wondering in rapt anticipation...just what is he going to try next? Really. Seriously.
