One final thing. To really make things fun I am heading away until Monday and won't be back online until then. Feel free to transfer ISKies in the meantime but the thread will not be updated until then.

To be honest I was originally going to make it a 1 bil a ticket lottery, but thought I would open it up a bit. My threory is that alliances and corps are the ones who would be most likely to want to buy tickets and so if they bought one they may want to purchase multiples.
Either way, it will be slow to get off the ground. I don; think I will be running the draw this month :)

I'm not much into gambling as I suck at it, but in my one and only dealing with this nutcase  he seemed like a upfront dude.

nice idea, but i am not sending you 100m isk for a draw that has no end date. Put a end date on the lotto and i might consider it.
other wise we send you 100m and there never is a draw, all you have to do is not update this post and the draw never takes place.

I have a strange feeling that this "Lotto" will be a never ending story...
This is a new breed of scam, all the tickets will never be purchased, thus the lotto will never occur...
But all the isk will be in limbo in Sabahl's wallet (wink, wink)
Its hard to believe that stupidity is a finite commodity in EVE... But it is...
Some people will buy tickets no doubt, some already have... But the 1000 tickets will never all be sold because there just aren't enough clueless people with that much isk...
Furthermore, only a few Mega Alliances would have any use for a Titan BPO at all in this game... The materials required, the time it would take to cook in a POS, etc. make it almost worthless to 99% of the people that could win it...

Didn't I read that ASCN paid out something like 93bil for their Titan BPO? If so, what would stop an alliance buying all 1000 tickets for a mere 100bil and get all the BPO's? Sounds like a good deal to me, but I may just be stupid.
100,000,000 * 1000 = 100,000,000,000 = 93,000,000,000 for a Titan BPO and you get a Mothership BPO, Dreadnought BPO, Carrier BPO and a Freighter BOP for 7,000,000,000. But wait, thereÆs more. If you send 100,000,000 ISK within the next 30 minutes, you'll receive a Battleship BPO for free! Yes, that's right! FREE! Why wait. Evemail now.

This is not a scam but, on the other hand, I have to admit that it's not really meant for the little guys in the game, at least not for them to build the damn thing should they win. Trying to get a titan built is an obscenely difficult job. Hell, trying to get a mothership up and running is hard enough. I do not forsee this lottery ending "soon", if at all.
Having said that, if (and it's a BIG if) the lottery ever gets to a draw date and a small producer wins, they have 2 choices open to them. 1) Sell the BPO to a major alliance and make tons 'o' cash back or 2) Slap it into copy, wait six months and then sell the copy for obscene amounts of ISKies. You could probably count on about 10 bil every six months with this thing.
As for the cost of the Titan to ASCN, whoever asked is too lazy to open their market window and see how much the BPOs sell for. ASCN's titan costs included the cost of all of the component BPOs as well, remember.

Meh, I can see what I can come up with, but my assets are spread over 3 characters so it's a pain in the arse. And my tech 2 BPOs are all in permanent production so a screeny of the production queue is the best youc an get.
For the guy who asked about an end date, I put down the criteria for the end date in the original post. Given the immense entry requirements to this lotto there can be no hard and fast end date stated before hand.
Having said that, IF people start buying into this thing, if I have not received enough entries by 30th March 2007 I will terminate the lottery and return all cash.
