Hi.
I got this idea from a failed suicide gank in a 0.5 system from which I barely got out of alive.
My cargo value was very high so I can understand that they tried but I thought that maybe I should increase my security just a little bit.
I don't want to use a freighter because it's too slow and I won't use an Orca / Corp hangars because that's not fair in my eyes.
So I created this little beast:
Mastodon
All skills that affect the ship or the ship modules are at lvl 5.
Low:
Caldari Navy Power Diagnostic System
Caldari Navy Power Diagnostic System
Caldari Navy Power Diagnostic System
Caldari Navy Power Diagnostic System
Shadow Serpentis Power Diagnostic System
Med:
Republic Fleet Large Shield Extender
Republic Fleet Large Shield Extender
Republic Fleet Large Shield Extender
Rigs:
Medium Core Field Extender II
Medium Core Field Extender II
This gives me an EHP of 89,642 with some minor implants and so on according to EFT.
Sigradius is 227m.
Cargo space: 6562.5m-¦. Not much, I know. But enough to transport what I'm transporting.
CPU: 231.75 / 237.5
Grid: 371.25 / 371.67
The reason why I don't have hardeners or boosters on this fit is because I'll be afk.
Should be able to withstand most attacks shouldn't it? |

Unless you run around pissing people with your hauler alt, yeah. Except that it's incredibly blingy so someone might gank it just for the tear value. |

Tbh If I had to AFK haul crap (lulz) and I refused to use an orca (lulz) I would...you know...hire someone to do this **** who can be bothered to be at the keyboard. |

That fit is actually MORE likely to get ganked then a T1 fit Mammy, due to the fact that it'll drop a pile of faction mods when it dies. There is no 'safe' when AFK in Eve, there is only "it'll cost more to gank me than I will drop"; and even then you're subject to people saying to themselves, "I really just want to gank that guy for fun".
An Orca isn't 'unfair', it's simply using whatever tools you can to survive in Eve. If you are unwilling to use things to the best of your ability, that's your fault.
TL;DR: Don't do it, it's a bad idea. Either use an Orca, don't AFK haul, or pay someone to haul stuff for you. |

If you are afraid of losing your cargo, don;t afk period.
If it's cost effective to gank you, you will be ganked eventually going afk.
Edit - I would haul at most 200m in that fit of a ship, and that is pushing it. |

Only if AFK-ing. Use a powergrid rig and you can fit a 100MN MWD on an Orca. From a dead stop, you can pulse the MWD once and be in warp in about 10-15 seconds depending on skills. |

If it's less the 1 billion, by all means use red-frog freight service, they transport 860.000 m3 to almost every high-sec corner of eve for like 10-15 million and it only takes them 1-2 days.
If it's more. then the ship you're trying to use is all the wrong and you better fly a blockade runner.(get instaundocks and instadocks if you're really as paranoid as me.

Okay so it's too sweet when it comes to module drops.
Alright so I'll use the KUA2000 implant which gives me 5% shield powergrid upgrades bonus to compensate for lack of powergrid from the Caldary Navy PDS'es.
The republic fleet extenders will also be swapped for regular ones that provides the same shield amount anyway.

Of course, my cargo will still be valuable but then again I always fill my cargo with hundreds of worthless items that I keep in stacks of one unit so I'll be long gone before they manage to scan me down and find out what I'm really transporting.
Again, orca is too slow and what's the fun in using the corporate hangars to bypass the cargo scanner? It's almost an exploit.
Oh and yea.. Do not for one second think that this character is the pilot :D So save your isk, don't try to locate me :) |

I used median selling price. And all lvl5's in my eft exercise.
It really, REALLY comes down to the value of your cargo or how badly have you p|ssed someone up. Nothing else matters, really.
Oh, and +2 warp strength will not save you. Bumpty-bump!
