[169] Look guys there is a solution to all this mess. If you see Evolution just avoid them. Log off, leave the system, dock or do whatever. Then Evolution can't be accussed of cheating. From my expirience some of those Evo guys are good, but there are some where I hear their names cursed and cursed again for being underhanded. If there was some way of maybe posting a list of names and what they tactics use then maybe we can avoid those dodgy ones and take on the guys who are not on the list without the fear of being shortchanged. We could even setup a list that doesn't just apply to Evo but applies to all individuals who are to be approached with caution. |

But he is in posession of many gifts from us the good players of eve in order to aid the task. But you do need to defend yourselves and perhaps just have the balls to make a decision to change your ways. If you beat me in a fair fight (and i mean no use of grids, bugs, ctd modules, without log-off camping - I am not talking about being outnumbered cos then i am dumb to even engage) then you will have my respect and you will have earnt it. But it seems to me to be more than a little bit more than coincidence that every time your name is mentioned the talk is immediately of exploits. I think that CCP are starting to agree. Guys - you have some decent fighters for sure - you also have a lot of muppets, a much higher ratio than others corps. I dont understand why people cant just fight without using the games unintended intricacies for some advantage? Where is the fun in that? One member of your corp has even contacted me since the original post to agree and apologise for your corps behaviour ffs!! It's just a G A M E but for some it seems to be a pen15-extending exercise which is beyond sad but unfortuneatly a trend through the gaming world. And btw stop the personal abuse - it just makes you look like the 12yo's you seem to be + I'm better at it :P In a perfect PvP world every fight would be free of exploits - just a good pit of ship v ship, module v module, skill v skill. The other day we had a member of your allies MASS in a scorp who fended off 3 battleships for a good 3-4 minutes before escaping. We all started a little behind as we had just destroyed an Armageddon and so were running low on cap but still no escuse by a long way. This dude was great - every angle we tried he seemed to have a response and i dont think he fired a shot - just saved all his cap for defensive maneouvres and his quick thinking saved the day. The 1st thing I did was congratulate him on local channel and had we had more time I would have enjoyed a blow by blow recount of the battle with him. He earned my respect and I bet all 3 of us learnt something. THATS WHAT PVP IS ABOUT - Not gank fests and cheating. --------------------------------------------------- |
