Well Wolf Leader, it actually shows NVA chaps being quite cool-headed and sensible in the face of nonsense provocation from channel-spamming Space Invaders acting like fools.
The situation is; we can't secure our alliance chat because of a game bug with passworded channels.
And you guys "cleverly" infiltrate our open channel "NVA" (no password) every night and irritate the pants off of everyone.
Sheesh ... I think anyone can see that our NVA chaps have the patience of saints.
(And frankly they are far more humorous and good natured in adversity than your moronic channel intruders)

PS ... makes you wonder why we never see Setec spamming the NVA channel ... oh yes, maybe its because he has a little class.

I can't believe you would post something so degrading to your corporation. If anything, it shows that the NVA has more class than you, especially after your corp mate is acting like a little child.

Executive Summary.
Space Invaders; ringing from the humiliation of being kicked around a bit elsewhere in space decide to "invade" NVA territory. This involves a two pronged assault on two fronts;
One, spamming the NVA open channel with childish antics and l33t-speak nonsense.
Two, parking a lag-in fleet in Pureblind. An area outside of Venal territorial claims proper.
NVA responds with a fleet 1/3 larger than the Space Invader fleet but the commander on watch decides that containment is better than an engagement through warp-in against a prepared position.
Given that conventional wisdom suggests 2 to 1 odds when attacking a lag-camp for successful resolution, the NVA commander clearly makes the right decision.
Space Invaders are frustrated at not scoring their usual quota of fish-in-a-barrel helpless kills and so descend to jibes and futile provocations.
Still, while the stand off continues the Space Invaders aren't pirating and Venal (some jumps away) is secure.
NVA Patience is tested but holds.
Space Invaders throw their toys out of the pram.

What I think is funny, is that you have to stoop to posting chat logs to try and tarnish the NVA's public persona. I'm sure known pirates pointing fingers is gonna have a huge impact.

When did SI start with the taunting? They never did that before...at least not unless peeps started taunting them first.
Ask Archain (SI) if we taunt our enemies, even after killing them...
Here's what I want to know...are Trap, Leitari, and Wolf actually stupid enough to think that by calling us cowards, we will run headlong into a trap? Please, show a little more subtlety. Si are experienced PvPers who have worked together a long time, and most of time, NVA fleets in that area consist of members from various corps with varying degrees of experience who haven't worked together at ALL.
Instead of taunting them, perhaps you should have taken it as a sign of respect for the collective experience you all possess.
Ahh...but some people wouldn't know what respect is. Those who give none, get none in return.

I never have understood why Setec and SI get so much respect in this game. I always thought of them as lame and more than a little "superior" in attitude. Thanks for the chatlog wolf, you proved all of the above.

This post is a real shame.
The first SI pilot I had an encounter with was Viceroy at the weekend and it was a really good little stand-off for a bit. I had to run in the end but it was fun. I certainly have respect for him. Unfortunatley some of his corp mates don't seem to be as worthy of the same respect. Pity.

The annoying thing about this is that it wasn't spontaneous local-channel smack talk (and let's face it, almost everyone does that from time-to-time) but they went deliberately out of their way to spam our non-passworded channel (which we use due to bugs in passworded channels having caused serious problems in the past). SI have been in there for weeks and so long as they keep things friendly they are welcome. The only thing these logs show is SI behaving like kids, I hope it isn't repeated.
The hilarious bit is "n00bs sit 20 jumps away and talk smack" from Trap about the NVA. Errr - who's come to who's channel??? If I got into, say, the CA channel and starting demanding they send a fleet up to Venal and spamming their channel and they say no stop wasting our time - who's the smack talker?

SI were the reason KIA even joined an alliance, that thread there is just an embarrasment for them, they should be cringing at reading it.
Guys, claim back some class ffs.
If i was SI leader the guys acting like children in a public channel, making SI look like a bunch of testosterone overdosed kids, would find themselves on the nasty end of a complete kicking.
Grow up, get ya head sorted, and stop ruining SI's hard earnt reputation.
SI appear numerous times in the most repsected thread, and totally justified, these sorts of posts, the night after night of this inane childish schoolground dribble, is against everything that SI are supposed to be, and have been in the past.
