It's a public channel. Their secret is prolly called "~NVA~". And invading channels can be fun sometimes. Jade has sold VA's password to Evo/Xanadu several times in the past  .

If there was ever a reason why Corporations should have nominated spokespersons or at least a little policy or something , this thread is it.
I have had dealings with a few SI in my time , Mastema springs to mind and I always found them a little more mature (and frankly fun to banter) than others (like those children which are/were m3g4). This really doesnt do your PR much favours guys.

I think it shows that alotof Invaders agree on this, Mastema allready commented at the beginning of the thread. I doubt there will be little disagreement on the subject of invading chatchannels for the sole reason of smacktalk.

Nah sadly, its mostly just annoying, because the game is too bugged to allow proper chat moderation. Hence chat "invasions" are taking advantage of weakness in the chat feature set. The only reason we have an unpassworded one is because the passworded channels all fail on a regular basis. Hence by invading the fallback channels you cause an additional headache and recurring irritation at the bugs.

Comment on Jade's post at the bottom of page 4
As I said before, when the NVA was announced, it said that it would keep Pure
Blind clear of pirates. That you would chase them off.
For some time now, SI has been in Pure Blind. Last night it seemed that a fleet was ready to attack us, so a few of our chaps got their hopes up and asked when you were coming. If you would have stated clearly that you would not jump in because ******* (fill in any reason), it might have saved both sides the
irritation.
About winning this 'war', we don't consider us and the NVA at War more then any other corporation that hasn't spent a war slot to make it 'official'. Corporation likes Cult of Cthulu, Infinicorp and Spinewarp are at war with Us. You took our silence and occasional support for TTi as a declaration of war. For us this is not the case.
We are pirates, we attack people if we can. It's our job and not attacking is an investment. Camping could be considered our shift. But we all know workers should try to mix in some fun as well, and that's fighting a nicely sized fleet is all about. As such, the NVA is more then welcome to pursue your 'war' against us. When we feel like it, we play along.
I can assure you though, we take a war seriously when we deem it worthy of the term.
@Maud, that really puts things in perspective. I hope you have a better day at work tomorrow. seriously.

I just want to set a few things striaght about the incedent that started this whole crap-talking mess:

These three ships encountered four SI ships camping a gate in the X-70 system. Unfortunately, SI destroyed 2 of those ships (a Thorax and an Armaggedon)as they tryed to push SI off of the gate. (congrats to who ever got the loot from the Armageddon, you got our sec. directors wifes' life savings)
So as I can see it, SI viewed this "great military victory" as a good enough excuse to start the smack talk in the NVA channel.
On a related note, Oberon has now moved close to 60 ships (most fitted for LR travel) into the Venal region with only 2 losses. A real testament to SIs "pwnage" of the Pure Blind region.
