Sorry, I can't do anything for you beside telling you that I (among some others of SI) have been around with TTI & M3G4 in the earlier days of the civil war.
I have been there with my limited capabilities (EW frigate) and I was securing the space from others. I still have some guns and ammo in Y-4CFK.
Beside of that we supported the position of TTI, SI never has been a mercenary corp to fight a long war.
You maybe want to realize, that I didn't say anything about NVA not jumping into SI in Pure Blind, I would do the same if I would command the NVA fleet.
Instead of (not) talking about the log, you have started a flamewar against SI and I am just answerning to it. Nothing else. What does this "Molly has noobs in 1.0, destructed her ship, deleted her char" to do with all it, I wasn't even there?
My initial feeling while reading the log was that the game mechanics still allow to do this stupid cat and mouse game and the wish that someday this will be "fixed" by the developers.
Anyway, I have some fever now and a headache, maybe also because of people who claim knowing so much about SI...  .

1)We are not frustarted at this game, up untill the latest, active patch we still find a way to acquire money. The only thing that has changed is that we have less patience as before, we cant allow people to think about handing over money. They need to hand it over, or not and face the consequences

2)I wont deny every Space Invaders has a different view on the forum, I'm fairly sure I **** them off often. Yet, I can’t help who is liked or disliked on the forums. All I can assure you, is that in corpchat things are different and fine.
3)Space Invaders consist of individuals and each one has the right to do as he she pleases. It wasn't mandatory that every pilot was in venal at the time of war, it was wanted. We all know how hard it is to obligate people, and thus Space Invaders doesn't effectively do so. We all know what we can and cant do within the corporation, and this stays within the corporation.
4)Some individual members were vocal supporters, i can guaranteed there is no
positive (and serious) remark I made about Ragnar. We left venal because we were sick of the alliance politics and would have left if we weren't cast out. That had little to do with how TTI was treated.
5)Again, some may be arrogant within Space Invaders, and I admit the first few weeks I was thinking so highly of myself. Would you blame to feel happy about being welcomed into such fine and infamous company? Normally it passes as we lose ships, and some others well they just have huge ego's and I guess it comes down to being humble or not.
6)Personally I have no words for it, all I can hope is that NVA finds a channel that is as safe as Venal is.
7)Indeed we are pirates, and we shoot things. But after a while it gets tedious and we want a real enemy, especially when we know one is 1 jump away.

The way we made this clear might have been confusing, but most of us are humble , simple fighters.
Next time we call, make it clear. Instead of blahblabh, say: No, we wont jump in cause we have better things to do. or No, we dont care you are here. The fleet 1 jump away is there to welcome those that got away from you.

People come to the forums and tell the stories about SI camping. Since none of the other non-camping heists are here, Miso assumes that we camp only.
And anyway, why calling camping lame? I know a few people who hurted SI a few times running our blockades. It's not like it's always a self-runing afk show. But I agree, Non-camp hunting is more demanding/thrilling.

Yes, we were counting on an attack and we were so hopefull of one when we knew of that fleet.
We have heard of this offcial war against us by the NVA, yet we haven't noticed much of it yet. We prefer offcial wars, and other then that we class them 'a token of playful behaviour'.
And can people please stop the flaming, the thread might be locked while some are very much enjoying it.
Dont let it be locked because you take it too serious or personal.

As for game mechanics being at fault à maybe, but maybe its just war. A metaphor for what happened is this;
A smaller but more combat accomplished group of raiders invaded an area. They then chose favourable ground on there other side of a choke point and waited to be attacked.
A larger but less combat accomplished group of defenders responded and moved just beyond contact.
The commander of the larger group decided that he or she didnÆt like the odds and preferred to wait to be attacked in turn.
Stand off ensued.
What really is so surprising about this?
Read some military history sometime.
These things happen; itÆs why wars are not always over by Christmas.
Re knowing so much about SI à get over it hun; if you court the public eye you court the slings and arrows of public praise and approbation in equal measure. Setec knew this when he published the first log of a piracy victim.
Deal with it.

Spot on everybody be nice. In truth it was killing a bunch of us that we couldn't jump in with out being at a huge disadvantage. We really wanted to come play but game mechanics screwed both sides in this.

Yes, I wish I'd had my old char to fight and to support. It wasn't the case. Seems like you missed me those days. I wasn't absent from the in-game conflict. I was logged as the council was held and the war errupted with a new char.

The old char is deleted, it's in the Doomheim corp. Try to get into without deleting a char. I had my reasons to delete the char and I had reasons to make a new ones called Sally and Molly and I have no clue what you are trying to achieve by telling me something about the reincarnations and alts in this thread?

Re the fighting and war strategy; like I said, you cannot count on being able to dictate the terms of engagement. Fighting a war is not about providing fun and games and jollies to the Space Invaders. ItÆs about winning. And if winning means a month of frustrating you chaps and keeping you waiting at gates in the evening then fine. IÆd rather see the NVA nullify your big fleets and hunt you individually if it gets results. I see absolutely no reason why we should throw the dice on the result of a lag engagement when we can pin your fleet and strike back later at a time of our choosing.
And with regard to making our intentions clear to you? I donÆt think so. What part of Sun Tzu advises informing your enemies of your intentions? I must have missed it. If you come to fight me I will lie to you, I will misdirect you, I will hide things, I will feint; I will do everything in my power to gain advantage, and I absolutely will not arrange a slug-fest by marquis of Queensbury rules for the amusement of the invaders.
You can keep on counting on an attack; one day it might happen, but itÆs unlikely to happen when and where you want it to.
Re the war, Space Invaders declared it on the NVA when they backed RagnarÆs denouncement of the council and declarations of war and bounty. That situation stands until you surrender. You are amongst the last of the Pirate Alliance still maintaining RagnarÆs cause officially of course, but we would like to see you enforce his claim on Venal as a training scheme for our pilots.
Re flaming, itÆs all fun and games from where I am sitting; nothing too serious at all. Molly/Sally pushed their luck and gave me something to do over coffee on a dullsville afternoon.

If there was ever a reason why Corporations should have nominated spokespersons or at least a little policy or something , this thread is it.
I have had dealings with a few SI in my time , Mastema springs to mind and I always found them a little more mature (and frankly fun to banter) than others (like those children which are/were m3g4). This really doesnt do your PR much favours guys.
I know that a little smack talk occurs and with all those personalities in a corp/alliance you see stuff which makes you wince but to think you may even win a remote bit of respect or public support by advertising invading someone elses chat channel and then throwing insults about people being 'ahem cough pussies cough' makes me scratch me big bald heed (IC).
I was so ugly as child , when I used to play in the sandbox the cat kept covering me up
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.
