Sorry to hear you go, I assume it's because of the changes to Eve online throughout the last few years?

In all seriousness, you should probably keep your stuff. I have left EVE and come back several times just because I love blowing up spaceships. Starting over after having such a deep pool of resources is no fun. This is not to discourage new players from trying the game; rather, it's just to say appreciate what you have. I don't know; you might be able to get some of that sensawonda back if you start completely fresh when EVE more resembles what you're looking for. In that case, Sindel Pellion's Angel Project might be a good place for your stuff. It depends on how you want your stuff used while you're gone.
If you'd enjoy your character as it is *once EVE is more like what you want*, then keep your stuff.
Either way, I don't want it. Fly safe!

Yes guys, the decision to stop playing was not a quick one. I've been debating it for the last several months, recently I tried getting back into the game just to have the same problem over again.
I'll return when we get full station interaction and environment...and knowing how ccp loves to waste money on shittier projects like legion and dust, I probably won't be back. And if that time comes I doubt my small amount of assets will be of any use to me.
I don't enjoy the core gameplay of eve, I only enjoy the social aspect of the game though that has become increasingly more difficult to maintain over the last year.

I'll make the same suggestions I make to everyone thinking of leaving, any of the following are fun and/or good times:
1. Sell everything you have and buy PLEX with the isk. It'll be worth a lot more when you return (and if it isn't worth a lot more, it will likely be worth at least about the same as it is now).
2. Keep aside a small stash of what you enjoy using the most, then go to a new player system and randomly give away your stuff to obvious newbies. It's a real giggle!
3. Donate to new player organizations, such as the Angel Project, Eve Uni, OUCH or, well, my NewBro Roams new player friendly roams project ;) I use donations to my NewBro Roams to provide all the new players on the roam with ships that promptly get exploded in glorious giggles as I take them on their first roam through nullsec!
4. Don't do anything with your stuff. Just let it sit there, awaiting your return, because when you come back it's like Christmas finding all your stuff again. Amazing how much you forget you had!
5. Sell everything you have and buy the biggest, blingiest thing you can afford, then fit it out in as blingy as whatever funds remain will permit, then invite everyone to come kill you in a big, explosive send-off.
6. Don't leave, we will miss you!
