Splagada Minmatar Tides of Silence	Posted - 2006.08.27 12:05:00 - [1] Hey Finally we jumped on the bandwagon and started our own corp, with a couple friends The corp is for now empire based, we are looking to expand The group is a small group so far, mostly 25-30+ years old with a life, so we play when the schedule permit our primary goal is mining and mission running, dont plan to join another corp for a while. we are part of an uninformal "alliance" (a pvp corp helps us when needed, we get some supplies from them and sell part of our production to them). we sit on a 4/10 complex, are close to a 5/10, and we do frequent hauling blockade runs up to 0.0 for those who want to have fun. We try to develop this corp as a corporation. we want normal people, the chat is really relaxed, and we wont force you to do anything but try to contribute when you can. We help each other Shares will be for sale soon inside the corp, at almost a zero price. maybe opened to the rest of the world if the corp gets its cruise speed. We have a couple european players, and a couple US based ones We are non-pirates, so dont apply if you are, you wouldnt get your fun here. However, a person who applies, in my opinion, would have the ability to get quickly to a nice position within the corp. for example, we lack some miners still, and we still do not have anyone who really organizes stuff there. if that's your fun, there is profit to make, and fun to get. profit that is 100% redistributed to corp So in conclusion we prefer to stay small with fun people instead of growing wildly with people who dont fit in. A little bit about myself. Age: 33 I have a full time job. I have a wife and kid. Most of my play time is later at night and on the weekend. MMO experience: AC1, AC2, DAoC, SB, PS, WoW. I'm not really a miner but more of a mission runner, I am also interested in player escort missions and player security. My goal is to specialize in PvE and Pvp combat. I might be interested in bounty hunting later on once I have a decent set of ships. Currently, I'm working on my Cruiser. Feel free to send me ingame mail to JoDirt.

I've only been playing since Sat on the trial, but I'm definately going to sign up for the whole game. Evemail me if you want after the downtime or when you're next on. I have played several MMO's, Starwars Galaxies, Dark Age of Camelot, and looked a little at World of Warcraft. I'm 35 years old and will be working full time soon. I'm not really much of a planner, but if given a task I will find fun ways to complete the task. I'm not really looking for something to turn into an in-game job, although I do understand that somethings just must be done to make a corp function. Keeping the game a fun game is very important to me, so I usually do not look around for a large group (or corp), I like to get to know those I'm around the most in game. I get online as much as I can, but I really do not get in a big rush to "Level Up" as some may call it. I take my time and enjoy my time growing my character. I try to mix things up when I can, missions, mining, and at some point I may get into a little PvP as well. But, for the most part I enjoy hanging out and having a purpose to fulfill. Anyway, I just thought I would give a look and see what things are about with this corp,and see what its goals may be for the future. Klarr Yarrick

Soporo	Posted - 2006.09.12 20:54:00 - [16] New player on the Trial account here,but I intend to activate a full account once I squeeze whatever I can out of the Trial :) Mining is my game,still just a NoOb,but after a week I only have a Bantam and a Destroyer and about 3 mil,but I am skill'ing toward an Osprey and will have one within a week or two...Badger after that I am hoping. I really want to make some good money,but solo'ing in a Frig is a pain and thus far my hairbrained schemes solo'ing in low sec has not panned out :) I am an old fart(40) this is my second mmo,played City of Heroes for a while.Am employed full time second shift and am available usually from 2030 est till about 4 am.BC,TS,or Vent is fine for coms. My main is a Calderi named Soporo,holler at me in game if you want a reliable loyal noob you can train up well.

I get a chance to check in pretty much every day or two for an 1-2 hours, with a few evenings (PST) running upwards of 4 hrs. I'm married, with a 9-5 and other stuff going on, so I don't have a massive amount of time to just go nuts.

We push mining and mining ops (in teams anyways), I personally have helped 3 members get off their feet in our corp, and it feels pretty good when a new player's income goes from 1 million a day to 5 - 10 million a day. it isnt much in the eyes of an experienced player, however when i first started, breaking the 5 million mark threw me into an exhilerating spiral of happiness (what a fool i was), i opened the market right after, and realized my happiness was shut down with the price and training time for a Freighter..... However we are determined to help new players along as long as your willing to stick it out in the beginning, it takes time to get anywhere, and were more than happy to help.
