Your geddons get to die to Jaguars that MWD 200km over to them passively tanking your Tachyon II's. As of 10 minutes ago, that is a true story. -----

Yes, I choose amarr so I can go 'pew pew'. Yes .. And that ammo argument, it's rather old. Those ships that needs to carry ammo around, gets EXTRA CARGO SPACE!! SUPRISE!

I can't really speak for Amarr in modern day PvP but lasers are terrible for PvE. You're stuck NPC'ing in regions with EM/Thermal weak rats and if you run missions it takes you five times longer to clear a Gurista/Angel spawn than our Caldari/Gallente counterparts.
If the "no ammo" thing appeals so much to you, get a Dominix and you'll even get to pick damage types.

Are you claiming that ships that have to use ammo have bigger cargo holds? O RLY? Apocalypse has 675m¦ cargo bay. Tempest has 600m¦ cargo bay. Yup that's bigger .

Thats cause the apoc is more effective with projectiles if it uses a tanking setup.
It's not for *all* ships, granted, but it's for quite a lot. Compare the cargohold of the vaga vs zealot or the cyclone vs prophecy, for example.

Indeed there is many ships with more cargospace due cargo space needed for ammo.

they will not forget about us, it is not in their best interest to have 1 race that is gimped compared to the other 3. Its bad for business.

TUX? who? what? where? when? hu huh? no kidding.. Amarr is falling behind. To use other races weapons in hope to be on par with them is just wrong. This is why I am not too much inclined going in 0.0 and PvP like I should.. but hey, Amarr have fine mining ships!

While I will be the first to admit that lasers sucks, Amarr have excellent t2 ships. Pilgrim, curse, and zealot are all great ships. So specializing in them isn't going to totally gimp you. ----------------------------------------------- "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime |

This morning I got urge to start training Gallente ships (Having HAC lvl5 and Command Ship lvl5 is kinda nice on crossrace training) and blasters (Also having all non-race specific gunnery skills @lvl5 helps alot) just to be more better in EVE.

Interesting side note: a tempest with an AC setup has the highest ammo consumption rate of any battleship in the game, yet has the smallest cargo bay. -Wrayeth

Amarr ships, be it the frigate, the cruiser, or the battleship, were simply born for focus fire.
It's written right in the good book:

The same can be said for any noob BS pilot in any BS (bought account if he has tachy2s? or just not paying attention/bugged overview). No way you can do 200km in the time it takes a BS to warp out. |

I'm Gallente skilling for a Prophecy and going to fit this one with Railguns ^^
Believe me, the 10% Bonus to Medium Energy Turrets is not that big argument for having fitted the Prophecy with Energy Waepons. But having 6 Low-Slots and 5% Bonus to Armor resistances is quiet nice ;)
