Title says it all really so what do you think. Anything I should change or is it ok?
7 t2 ion med blasters
10mn mwd 1 20 km scram 1 web 1 small cap booster with 200 cap charge
1 mar t2 2 eanm t2 1 eplosive active hardener 1 mag stab t2
was thinking of changing some ions for electrons and fitting a med cap booster instead of the small. So is this good enough for a carebear industrial char to have some fun with in pvp?

Brutix does not seem to have enough firepower TBH... it is great in full gank mode from what some people say... I actually thought it had a nice tank to it so I went off of that.
Even with high gunnery skills and t2 blasters, the drones still seemed to play a large part in the damage of the brutix. I did do rather well in it though.
Think the setup I used was: 4x medium blasters, 3x medium nosf AB, webber, scrambler, anything. Tracking disruptor works well. 1x medium repairer, 1x small repairer, 3x hardeners (EX,therm, kin) I've also gone out with a damage control in place of the small rep... that worked very well also.
Now I would prolly drop the AB for a MWD and cap booster... the AB was cause of complexes. With the AB I did, at times, have problems with low speed. If I Didn't land the warp close to a target then if would sometimes take range and outrun me.
Just some of my insights on it. Basic theory to the ship was to use guns so they had to tank and rep (use cap) and let the nosf do it's thing. ---"What's in your wallet?"--- "There are two kinds of respect, fear and admiration.... I'll take what I can get" |

Replace two ions with two electrons and u have enough powergrid/cpu to fit med cap booster -- Do YOU know, the Whirlwind? HERE |

Sounds nice in theory, but brutix handles lick a dead whale (also looks like one but that's another subject) meaning that many clever pilots will just find a way to avoid you.
Also, I'm not sure that an explosive active hardener is the best way to go, I'd consider a DCU unless you expect to fight lottsa minmatar pilots. _

Edited by: Glorificus on 29/08/2006 18:16:45 Ended up changing 2 ions for 2 electron blasters so I could fit the med cap booster with an 800 in it. Also dropped the explosive hardener for a DCU. Sorted!!!
Thanks for the replies. Now the fun part

since your using 2 eanmt2 u may as well fit a energised reactive t2 hardner (as long as your passive skills are good) to have a good passive tank that lasts past nos.
personally i prefer electrons + 2 nos but up to you.

Definitely drop the active explosive for a DCU. Try it; you'll like it.
Something else to always consider on a Brutix is a dual rep tank; the armor rep bonus is just nasty.

Named ones give 12% bonus to all armour resists as well as shield / hull resists.
I'd throw 400's in the cap booster. It's more versatile in a med cap booster imo.
