Edited by: Pottsey on 01/09/2006 11:00:45 ôCan we have a potsey opinion on the matter?ö Not really needed I guess.
The Vulture is a greet passive tank but to my mind its still not as good as Gallente ships. Also at a glance your numbers look wrong I know you listed T2 shield relays T2 relays should be way over 1000dps perhaps 1200. Its a good setup but there might be room for improvement depending on what you want to do.
DonÆt forgot quick fit doesnÆt add in the 3 implants and unless you tick it, the gang skills. Add in shield resistance gang assist then the HP boost and gang assist boost from gang skills and mindlink and your tank goes though the roof when with a freind.

ôI would rather have 4 extenders and 2 invuln(t2) than 5 extenders - do the math.ö gang asset and 2 invul field for resistance is a lot of stacking penaltyÆs. Are you sure itÆs better? Not done the math my self, itÆs someone elseÆs turn. But Marcus Alkhaar knows his stuff and I wouldnÆt say he is wrong without showing the math.

ôWhy would you fit the cheaper shield boosting and faster shield boosting warfare links on a passive tank anyways? Or rather, why would you include them in any discussion about the passive tanking of your own command ship?ô ItÆs a practical ship to be used so not every module has to be about passive tanks. He has a clearly defined role to help his gang among other things. ThereÆs not much point in making a pure passive tank that cannot fit weapons or do anything but tank.
Fit a ship for its role then fit the tank.
