The Corvus and Storm haven't been added, and I'm not sure about the Leviathan. Unfortunately I'm in the middle of a very long rewrite of it so it'll be a while until a new version is released.

"Anyone else had problems with vista loading this??"
The viewer utilizes rather advanced version of openGL and Vista out of the box supports only earlier version of openGL if i understand right... some of the graphics card drivers from card vendors don't fully support openGL in Vista yet, either... so that could cause the problems you're experiencing (in particular with ATI cards)

By default Vista only supports OpenGL 1.4 which is layered over DirectX. This version of OpenGL doesn't support fragment programs so you'll need a driver from ATI/NVIDIA that does. I believe Microsoft has specifically chosen OpenGL 1.4 instead of a later version to cripple it, and if it hadn't have been for the outcry that happened, Microsoft would have succeeded in killing OpenGL.
I have no intent on making the program run on Vista, if it works for you great, if not, too bad.
As for the change notes, there won't actually be much new. The biggest thing is that I might be able to finally load the station interiors.

I like Showroom very much but there's one thing I would like to have in there. If I want to view a specific ship in the viewer I have to circle through all the other ships until my ship appears. It would be very nice to have the functionality to load a spcific ship by its name. Maybe through the command box by writing the name in it or with an additional window with a list of all ships in it where you can choose the one you like to see. |

Is there anyway to import these models into Maya/Alias/3dsMax?

You need the TriExporter thread.

Nope, my account has been cancelled for a while, and I'm currently waiting for the new version of OpenGL to be released before I continue working on it/learning OpenGL.
(I'm posting this on CCP's 5 day trial thingy :))

awesome porgram, but why are some of the ships in such a dark background?
I wish there was a line scale where you could zoom out to max to see the big ships and then all the way to close as possible for the lil ships, cause I can not do mouse wheel enough to go from any real size difference

The download link isn't working - I assume its likely in connection with Mr. Elfarto being away from the game and letting the link slip. Any possibility someone else could host it? I can't find it on eve-files.
Of course, I could just have a strange internet connection. It's being temperamental as of late.

This program needs a key on the keyboard to zoom in and out, or maybe zoom in and out like in the game, holding right and left buttons.
And the lights are not good one some ships.. nice work tho

Well, the program looks quite good... But is it true that it only shows the classic models?
And I'd like to ask for something like a graphical user interface... And maybe the ability to jump straight to a model by it's ShowInfo-number... --- This is your Captain speaking. Thank you for flying with our spaceline. Please remain seated until the ship has completely burned out. Thank you. |
